Excellent overall experience, but I was disappointed they didn't have any "no cavity" (etc) stickers, nor any freebies (toothbrush, toothpaste etc.)

Dr Kamal and Nicole are very good,but the stuff are very un professional people,I was 30 min early for my appointment and they put me in 30 min late, very vet disappointed
Honestly, my visit to Oakwood Dental on Richmond Ave in Staten Island was fantastic. I showed up early and was waiting outside, but the receptionist heard me and actually opened the door to let me in right away—such a nice gesture that made me feel truly welcome from the start. Ms. Nicole treated me with so much professionalism and courtesy during my teeth cleaning, and everyone there was just super kind and polite. Couldn't be happier with how it went, and I'd definitely tell other people in Staten Island to check them out for dental care.

Update: Just as I thought, I got sick a few days later. This place in Staten Island doesn't follow proper hygiene, and I bet I'm not the only one it's happened to—I'm just speaking up. Initial review: First time ever that my mouth felt dirtier after a cleaning. Reason: The guy who let me in also did my x-rays without changing his gloves from touching the door. Really disappointed with the emergency dental care here.

1 day before my bachelorette weekend, I woke up in extreme pain and was so scared I would need a extraction or root canal. I had no insurance (mine started the week after) due to my new job. I was so scared my weekend would be ruined in bed - crying in pain.
Gina got me an emergency appointment the same day, I came in and was shocked how beautiful and clean it is. The paperwork was online and quick. I didn’t even sit down before I was called in. Dr Simi, she is a breath of fresh air. Young, smart, empathetic, and understood my situation with not having insurance and the fact my party was the next day !
Thankfully I just needed a filling. She was so gentle I didnt even feel the shot 🤣 now that’s great !!! I was nervous about the payment but I was instantly relieved, they charge very reasonable.
Do not hesitate go to Oakwood. Anyone who has something “negative” is the problem 🤣✌🏼✌🏼✌🏼

Been a patient for many years at both the New Jersey and Staten Island locations, and my whole family loves it here at the Richmond Ave spot in Staten Island. Dr. Kamil is wonderful, patient, and kind—he did amazing work on my fillings and night guard. When my daughter had a wisdom teeth emergency, they took her right in. Gina at the front desk is so personable and helpful, and Nicole, Gianna, and Emma are gentle hygienists. Wonderful staff, clean office, and always on time for orthodontics and more.

I broke a tooth with a wire sticking out from an old crown, and the dentist removed it immediately, then explained my options clearly. Dr. Zaccariello & Lisa were absolutely amazing! I trust them with all my dental care needs and wouldn’t go anywhere else. The bedside manners, they are personable and professional. They always explain everything and just so meticulous I find that very hard to find these days and many dentists rush you out. I’m thankful I found them and would highly recommend them hands down!

Called the make an emergency appointment, within 2 days I was in with Dr Z. Very nice man! Will definitely be switching over to them to be my new dentist. Staff is super friendly. Dentil assistant Lisa was the best! She’s so funny! Was very nervous at first but she made me feel so much better! I’m gonna request her every time I go there from now on.

I love this office so much! Nicole is a wonderful compassionate hygienist who takes your feelings into account. I am a very thankful to have found her, and Dr. Ruggeri, he is the absolute best! The office staff are also very nice and efficient! I recommend this practice highly!

The dentist and assistant were very gentle and friendly. The dentist was very thorough about what he was doing. I have seizures anxiety and needle phobia I got over 7 shots with no problem. The work that was done was satisfactory. The receptionist were also friendly and helpful and understanding. Thank you for everything you do, I’ll be going back soon.😁

Dr Ruggieri and his assistants are fantastic. Had implant surgery and I was so nervous. They were wonderful and put me at ease. Only needed to take one Motrin and felt nothing after that. Wonderful experience.
