Honestly, I was in a bind and needed emergency dental care in Staten Island, NY. Oakwood Dental got me in on short notice, and when I called the day of, they even moved my appointment earlier. Super flexible—really appreciate that. Only waited a few minutes in the waiting room, and they started my teeth cleaning about 15 minutes after I arrived. The staff was super friendly, and the dentist was awesome. Overall, one of the best dental experiences I've had in a while. Would definitely recommend!

Oakwood Dental provides good clinical care for things like dental implants, and I appreciate the professionalism in Staten Island, NY. But the office seriously needs to work on time management. During my last three appointments, I waited over 40 minutes each time before being seen. At this point, it's not just an occasional delay—it's a pattern. What's frustrating is patients get charged a $75 fee if they're late, yet the office doesn't seem to hold itself to the same standard. Please stop overbooking and respect patients' schedules too.

Let me be real—I hate the dentist. If I could skip it forever, I would. But at Oakwood Dental in Staten Island, NY, I walked in 15 minutes early, did the paperwork, and they took me right away. Dr. Jackman was super nice and made my teeth cleaning experience really easing, taking time to explain everything. The hygienist Shaye was sweet, quick, always checked if I was okay, taught me thoroughly, cleaned my teeth nicely, and even gave me a new toothbrush and paste. Front desk was helpful too! 10/10 would recommend coming here.

My experience with Oakwood Dental in Staten Island, NY was great. As a nervous person, they made me feel so comfortable. Dr. Lurch is an awesome dentist—he explains exactly what's going on with your teeth and tells you what procedures he'll be doing, like for dental crowns. He's thorough and nice, really eased my nerves. Came out of the dentist today happy and confident. The staff is super helpful too. Thank you Oakwood Dental for being so great!

Since switching to this office I have been treated with the utmost professionalism. From the girls at the front desk, assistants and the Dr himself. I’ve had two emergencies recently and both times seen in a timely manner.
I started having molar pain after flying home from a trip to Denver. I called my regular (now former) dentist on a Thursday and they told me they wouldn’t be able to fit me in until Monday. I then called Oakwood Dental and they were able to fit me in that SAME DAY right after I got off work. After an examination and x-rays Dr Lerch determined the tooth was infected and I needed root canal. Because it was a molar I needed to see a specialist- an endodontist. He sent in a prescription for antibiotics and gave me a referral to Goldman and Levine for the root canal. I tried calling them for an appointment but the don’t answer the phone - I could only leave a voice message requesting an appointment. Well I’m STILL waiting for them to call me back so…forget about them. I instead went to another endodontist who was recommended to me - Dr Yaela Faitlowicz. She was able to see me the next day and was wonderful - but that’s a different review. Oakwood Dental did a great job getting the x-rays sent to her office for me ASAP. After the root canal was completed Dr Lerch fitted me with a temporary crown until my permanent was finished which took approx 2 weeks. I now have my permanent crown and it fits perfectly and looks and feels like a brand new tooth. I have to say Dr Lerch did an excellent job. I’m really happy with the way tooth looks and feels. The staff at Oakwood Dental are very friendly, helpful and caring. I couldn’t ask for anything more. Thanks Oakwood Dental!
I love the staff at Oakwood Dental Arts. All of the offices are fantastic. Lauren the hygienist was so awesome. She was gentle and informed me of every step. She was personable and so friendly. I felt very comfortable in her care. Dr. Jackman was really cool. She was thorough and got right to the point. I wish I got the name of the woman behind the front desk. She was so sweet and so patient. Overall a great experience.
Professionalism was upon entrance and followed with welcoming customers/patient services. Receptionists are very informative and even more as it pertains to insurance coverages. The ofice environment is beautiful and the doctors are very specific to providing details of the kind of care you need and why it is needed. I am glad I chose this dentist, actually I am happy my husband referred them.
Due to a discomfort in my temporary cap that was done at railroad, I was sent to victory blvd due to not having availability. Coming into the office it was very welcoming. I loved how Stephanie was very comforting and patient and took her time to explain to me in regards to my issue. Dr Graziano took very good care of me. Thanks to him I’m feeling better. I highly recommend this location.
