Had a teeth cleaning here, and my hygienist was so kind and accommodating. She even got me a blanket because I wasn't dressed warmly enough. She gave me tips to keep my gums from inflammation, especially since I have an implant from another office, and provided a tool to help clean around it. I'm always so happy visiting OC Healthy Smiles in Costa Mesa—they're so professional!

I can look past bad customer service, however, I cannot when it comes to bad dental treatment. If you go in with a serious dental problem, they will only exacerbate it and charged liberally for it. Worst dentist experience I’ve dealt with. I had high hopes for this place after it was recommended but now have to go another dentist to resolve the issues they only made worse. Horrible experience.
Just visited my favorite dentist, OC Healthy Smiles, and as always, it was excellent. The staff is welcoming and professional, the office is clean and comfortable. My dentist takes time to explain everything clearly, making sure I'm at ease. I truly appreciate the care I get every time—I leave feeling confident about my dental health. My brother came in for a tooth abscess that hygienist Klaudine herself said needed draining, but they didn't drain it. Now he has a severe infection across his face and has to get the tooth pulled because OC Healthy Smiles and Dr. Truong failed to give him proper care. Dr. Truong sent him home with the wrong prescription, charged $239, and told him to come back in a month for a root canal—after his first and only visit. They're not returning emails or calls. Good thing he went to another dentist.

Second time at OC Healthy Smiles and it was awesome! Doctor was super nice and the Dental Assistants were so sweet! The procedures I had done went by super fast and so far I feel zero pain! The last time I had dental work done I started feeling pain shortly after the numbing wore off. Not with this dentist though! I will definitely be coming back and bringing my family!

The positives: This used to be my favorite dental office in OC and the staff here are very friendly and organized. I've been going here for years. They have the latest equipment and I'm never stuck waiting for long unlike other offices.
In the past I've gotten a dental crown done with Klaudine and Dr Nguyen, and many years of teeth cleaning. My chair was comfy and my room had a nice view of a tree. Payment was smooth and the office is really pretty.
The negatives: Unfortunately the last time I came, they refused to make a new night guard for me even though it was cutting into my cheeks and I was still under warranty.

I had a toothache and the chat feature on the website instructed to call a phone number for quick assistance on a Sunday, I am also a new patient ( I changed jobs and insurance and had been putting off finding a dentist in network) well a toothache sped that process up! I called the number not knowing what to expect and Dr Nguyen answers and asked me to text him my full name and email address and squeezed me in the next morning! Well the office is beautiful, everyone is very nice I had the pleasure of meeting Dr Nguyen and was assigned Dr Truong and his assistant (oh I forgot her name) was wonderful! I have never had such a wonderful experience at a dentist office! 5 Stars

I've been to a few dental offices, but this is by far the best in Costa Mesa. The clinic is spotless, the staff are incredibly kind, and parking is easy. From the moment I walked in, I felt welcome. The cozy lobby, a comfort menu with neck pillows and earplugs, and a goodie bag at the end—such nice touches. Nicole, the hygienist, was amazing: she gave me a tour, explained my dental health thoroughly, and pointed out a small spot no other dentist had mentioned, reassuring me it wasn't serious. Love this place!

Upon entering OC Healthy Smiles, I was greeted and checked in immediately. The lobby was clean and very welcoming. Since it was my first visit, the front desk receptionist went over the details of my appointment and what would be done for that day. Within 5 mins, I was called and Taryn took me on a tour of the whole facility. I thought this was very important seeing as how it made the visit seem more like a VIPwelcome as opposed to a shuttling me back to a room and waiting to be seen. Taryn was so informative and helpful throughly my entire visit. She took the time to explain everything and not once did I ever feel like I was being rushed or pressured to do anything. She was gentle with her touch and I wasn’t ever uncomfortable. Speaking of comfort, they treat you like a VIP. They give you a list of things to make the visit easy and more comfortable for you, from AirPods with music to lavender blankets. I chose the freshly laundered Blanket and it was amazing. Dr Melissa went over my X-rays and my results of my exam and she was so informative, explained my treatment plan very well, and she was so helpful. I’ve been hesitant about going to a dentist and they made me feel at ease. I’m so happy to have found OC Healthy Smiles.
