They were super accommodating on the day of my daughter's wisdom teeth removal—we even did the consult and procedure same day due to our schedule, and it went great. Dr. Schultz and his assistant made sure I understood what was going to happen and when they sent me home I recieved verbal and written instructions. Just had an extraction today at this O'Fallon, IL facility, and I'm giving everyone 5 stars. The office is clean, fresh, and calming, and the staff is friendly, helpful, and professional. From the consultation to the extraction, they've been great. Dr. Schultz is super friendly but straight to the facts, which I appreciate. The kind woman who took my x-rays and assisted today (sorry, bad with names!) really knows her stuff. The entire staff at OSSI has been great to work with. Dr Schultz took great care of explaining the procedures in plain English. The day of my procedure he contacted me to follow up on my status, HE called. What doctors do that nowadays?? Nurse Manny was very kind, patient, and took great care to ensure I was comfortable. We are so grateful for this office!!! My husband had to have an emergency extraction. The office was very prompt to help & get him in the same day we called. The office staff, assistants & Dr Schultz were very caring, kind, and precise about the procedure!! It made my husband feel at ease. Dr Schultz even called after the procedure to make sure my husband was doing ok.

Very professional office. Nurse Manny was very caring about any questions or concerns I had after my daughters surgery. I was impressed by Dr Schultz as my daughters case was not any easy one. Also impressed that he himself contacted me by phone that night to check up on my daughter. Lastly, thank you to the front office for being an excellent way to get the appointments scheduled, working with my insurance, and being very pleasant the day of the surgery when I needed a smile to calm my nerves!

The Doctors and Nurses are worth 10/5 stars, stellar work, minimal pain, clear instructions. I would love to visit them anytime I have issues....but their front office staff can be the rudest people to ever grace such wonderful doctors. They are rude and condescending refusing to read and understand question about billing statements. Apparently after paying our part at the time of surgery, we never received a statement/bill for items (not covered by insurance) for the remaining balance or it was misplaced. We then receive a very rude statement 6 months later and as far as we can remember, this was the only statement we received. When asking if only the two statements were received we received an even more rude response about we are required to pay even though we literally said we were on our way to pay the balance and they are not obligated to send anymore statements before sending to collections. The unfortunate part is they have our phone numbers and email addresses and could have tried reaching out to notify us of an outstanding bill. Please be aware that with this front office staff you will have to be more pro-active with their chosen level of engagement to ensure your credit history is not affected by what you could assume is their own lack of trying.

I have reached out to Dr. Schultz after his response and provided a short story of grievances I had with the customer service we received. I have edited from 1 to 4 stars as I cannot verify that any changes will/have taken place based on my suggestions, but I would recommend anyone and everyone to visit this Oral Surgeon. I also cleaned up some verbiage as I have thought about my choice of words. The full review will stand as its history is still important to services I received. I do not wish ill on any staff for issues, only growth as people to be more fair and kind.
