I was extremely nervous upon arriving for my first visit. Cassandra immediately put me at ease as did Dr. Lerud. I have never had such a comprehensive initial exam and visit. Even though I need a dental crown I am certain they will treat me with care and concern for my anxieties. Really appreciate the gentle approach here in Sedona.

If you're even remotely thinking about becoming a patient here, DO IT! They are so kind and professional. Dr. Lerud was able to fix a lifelong problem I’ve had by correctly diagnosing it. I didn’t go in there for that because I’d been told it wasn’t an issue. When I left I felt so much more confident in my smile. Not to mention the receptionist & billing specialist are so sweet. They were interacting with my little one & went above and beyond to help me schedule what I needed. On top of that I loved my dental assistant. She was so on top of everything with the water & air during the procedure. So glad I found Peak Family Dental Care in Sedona!

Got me in last minute because I had a horrible toothache. I really appreciated that. Did a root canal on the very back, upper tooth. However, Dr. Shanahan and team made it much easier than I expected. If you need emergency dental care in Sedona, this is the place.

I was disappointed the way I was told that my arriving 12 minutes late (after I told them) my appointment was cancelled for a cleaning. I most always have to wait in the sitting area before being brought back for dental work. I arrived at 12:12 for a 12PM appointment. I stood there for 7 minutes as a customer was having trouble with paying. Another assistant was talking to one of the dentists while I was standing trying to check in. Now I need to re-book after a three week wait.

I found my experience with Peak Family Dental Care very good - took me on time, took special care from both doctor and nurse to find out my history and then did a very thorough exam - one of the best I have ever had. I love this practice! Had a fractured molar and sought urgent care just as they were closing for the day! Received excellent emergency dental care. Friendly and knowledgeable! Receptionist wonderful. X-ray done quickly. Dental hygienist great. Dentist was outstanding! I wished I lived locally as I definitely would return here in a heartbeat. Louann did an amazing job on my teeth and gums. She is skilled with listening and addressing all my concerns. I have to say after my amazing cleaning, that was the best polishing job I have ever had done on my teeth. Her words were “it’s like ironing your clothes after you wash and dry them, they look okay but then you iron them and they look amazing again.” I loved that! Dr. Lerud was amazing. I got an old, decaying filling upgraded and he did it WITHOUT NOVACAINE! I didn't know that was possible! I was in-and-out in only 15 minutes. The procedure gave me a couple of twinges here and there, but not really a pain. Doctor was ready to numb me down if I needed it, but I did not. Erica at the front desk continues to steer the Office Sheep with precision and efficiency. I used to be critical of the office management here, but all is dramatically better now in 2025. Looking forward to my next teeth cleaning in Spring 2026. Best dentist in Sedona for sure.

Walked in needing a porcelain veneer to be put back on. They made time to get me in. Staff is extremely friendly - polite and professional. The doctor took his time. Did an amazing job re cementing it back on. Good as new. The office is spotless, open and modern. Couldn’t have asked for a better result. Thank you!! I'm super grateful that I discovered this amazing dental care clinic! Dr. Lerud is my dentist here and I'm extremely satisfied with his skills, knowledge and gentle approach. I was also very impressed & surprised that Peak Family Dental Care offers same day crowns! What a wonderful convenience not to have to return 2 weeks later for the permanent delivery, in addition to far less stress on the tooth itself. Esthetically beautiful office with a lovely staff. Brooke, Cassie, Ramona, Erica and all the gals are super sweet and helpful. The complimentary SWAG I received was very much appreciated and certainly made my day. We just moved to the Village of Oak Creek and needed to visit a dentist to fix a loose crown top issue. I saw that Peak Family Dental Care was taking new patients and I reached out and asked for an appointment. Their onboarding process for new patients was super easy and they fit me into their schedule within 2 days of contact. The staff was very friendly and helpful getting me ready for the Dentist exam. I would absolutely recommend Peak Family Dental. Dr. McGee and team were wonderful. My daughter was in a lot of pain due to her braces and they caringly treated her. She felt immediately better and had the biggest smile on her face. We wish we were locals so that we could be long term patients of Peak Family Dental. The office is very beautiful and the staff was the kindest I’ve experienced.
