Honestly, I do not recommend the orthodontist here at all. She doesn't listen to her patients and seems like she only cares about the money. I came to this practice years ago for braces and had a great experience, but this time around it's been a complete no. When I asked about my progress and when my braces might come off, she just said, "As per the contract, you have payments until X date, so we'll remove them then." That made it feel like the timeline was based on payments, not on how my teeth were moving. Really disappointed, especially since I'm in Miami and there are other options for pediatric dental care and orthodontic evaluations.

I recently moved to west Kendall I was devastated to leave my kids dentist in Hialeah. and when I found this place for a filling my daughter needed I was thrilled (it seemed like a caring place). The first appointment and the filling went good. We made the appointment for may 24 for the regular checkup. when I arrived the dentist assistant told me she would take my daughter for her X-rays. And when I declined the X-ray and had to sign a document stating so (which I completely understand). the receptionist gave me the document extremely rudely. As it if bothered her that I made her print a paper. I was told my daughter was going in without me and when the doctor was about to see her I was going to be let in. Lies. Out of nowhere my daughter was “done”. The assistant came out with a bag in hand, my daughter and an appointment for 6 months made with a time or date that was NOT confirmed by me. I never saw the doctor. My daughter is 7 not 18! This was unacceptable and won’t be coming back! I can see that all they care about is getting the money. I rather drive 35 mins to Hialeah to their old dentist than come back to this place.
The entire staff is excellent. They always call to confirm and remind you about your appointment, and the waiting time is minimal. Our kids are 6 and 5 and have been coming here for about 3 years—they're not scared to come! Very welcoming for kids. Great work on dental cleanings and exams in Miami.

My children Richard and Sophia Heinz have been coming to Pediatric Dental Associates since they were 2 years old. Doctor Marta Ortiz is an amazing dentist, extremely patient and gentle always! Both my children had braces there as well, and we are thrilled with the result. Dr. Hernandez, the Orthodontist, is very knowledgeable and we are so grateful to her for both of my kids beautiful smiles! The whole staff, from the front desk to the dental assistants are wonderful....my kids love them and they have never been afraid to go see them for a cleaning, a cavity or anything else. My wife, kids and I Highly recommended!

Dr. Marta Ortiz and Yoly attended my son today and did a magnificent job. I have taken my child to this dentist since he was 1 year old and have had a great and wonderful experience every single time. Dr. Marta Ortiz is excellent with Children. My son was a patient of Dr. Ortiz a few years ago, but due to changes on our dental insurance we had to stop visiting her office. I kept calling every year to find out if they took our dental insurance and finally this year...we are back with both of my children!!!...and cannot be happier.

Today she extracted 7 teeth from my daughter and the experience was amazing. . My little girl did not suffer and was treated with respect and excellent care! This is an amazing clinic, I really like this place. I've been a patient here for more than 3 years and never had a single complaint. The doctors are really sweet and patient with everyone, and super professional. They know what they're doing and give their all to make patients comfortable and safe. I've been coming to this practice for over 5 years. It was excellent until recently. The staff is good, but they're overbooking patients now. The wait is at least an hour from my appointment time. 😔 Excellent staff, great service, and excellent doctors—I just hope they go back to how they were. In Miami, you expect timely care, especially for dental cleanings and exams.

My 3 year old did great at his first dental appointment. Dr. Ortiz Perez was amazing and so was the rest of the staff. They reassured him and comforted him. No crying and no cavities! The doctor provided great suggestions to hopefully avoid any cavities. Great experience!
