My kids have been going here in Naperville for almost 9 years. Today, a new assistant hurt my kid during the x-rays procedure—hopefully the practice can address this and be more careful next time. I talked to my child about speaking up when something doesn't feel right. Also, the practice keeps parents in the waiting room during cleanings, which leaves us unaware of what happens behind the door. We're trusting, but it's a concern for pediatric dental checkups in IL.

She needed a lot of dental work done (crowns), and Dr. Dulli was able to take care of her under general anesthesia at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox. I wish the doctor and the nurses handled my daughter with better care while pulling out her teeth. I know its a painful process. If the kid is nervous about it, sweating, crying and says the experience was horrible enough that she is not going to do it again, then there is something missing. Blaming the child as nervous, keeping the parents away (giving a feeling of being taken care of and comforted but actually not) and just saying.. "lets try the laughing gas next time" is not gonna help. The doctor should have talked to us about what options are available to lessen the pain, past experiences etc. It just looked like they got us in .. pulled a few tooth and blamed it on the child being nervous.
