Very thankful for this place. My son had a horrible experience at a previous dentist and was terrified to go back. Finally convinced him to try Pediatric Dentistry of CenLA in Alexandria, LA, and so glad we did. Everyone is kind and caring. Mrs. Courtney is amazing with kids—she knows my son had a bad experience before and is so patient, explaining step by step before starting anything. The ladies are all amazing. Highly recommend them for pediatric cleanings and cavity care!

Absolutely do not recommend this dentist at all. Dr. Huggs is extremely rude and insensitive to children. Making belittling comments and yelling at a child because she was nervous about the work. Absolutely terrible experience at Pediatric Dentistry of CenLA in Alexandria.

My 7-year-old daughter had her first dental treatment recently, and couldn't be happier. During her cleaning, Dr. Huggs was funny and sweet—made her feel so comfortable and got her laughing! Dr. Cloud did her treatment, and he was gentle and patient—she didn't even flinch. The whole team at Pediatric Dentistry of CenLA in Alexandria, LA, was professional and caring. This place is a joke and won't be seeing my kids again. Scheduled for a 12 o'clock appt. We arrived about 2 minutes late. First she checks us in, then calls me back saying they'd have to reschedule because they're going to lunch. Why schedule at lunchtime and then refuse to see us? Definitely making a complaint. Who does this? Never again.

They have always been so accommodating and understanding with me and my 6yo son. He has issues with ADHD, anxiety and such which means he ALWAYS has to be sedated for ANY procedure.The nurses on staff there really know how to put him at ease and take the tension out of the situation to the point that he now no longer needs sedation for a simple extraction! I truly appreciate these nurses and the EFFICIENCY of the dentists! I have to say this is one of the best dentistry teams I've ever dealt with and I've dealt with ALOT!!

Highly recommend!! 10/10 My son has a blast & looks forward to playing on the playground, picking out his new toothbrush, & prizes at the end. The staff makes him feel comfortable & as a mom that is all I could ask for. Happy kid, happy mom. 🤩

Today was the first/last terrible experience for us at this location. When we walked in, children were playing out loud, as usual. As the rules for the play area may change after this or disappear, my children along w/others were playing when a front desk clerk approached them in a hostile manner to lower their voices, Rude. My 4 yrs old knows playground and play out loud as any child does. Those are children. I politely after she returned to her desk told/asked her, next time you have a problem getting my 2 sons to lower their voices then you ask me to do it. She took offensive, expected. I respectfully got my 2 sons to exit the play area so their daily lesson could be learned. Front desk clerk made it all about her being the good staff member, expected, not in front me she isn’t. In my own words, I told upper management to keep an apology before explaining policy as I expected there would not be one, we cool. We canceled and exited cause clearly certain staff members there don’t see the wrong in approaching toddlers, making them cry, is a very unprofessional behavior. I’m glad there’s other children’s dentist offices in CENLA. We’ll never return to that office again.
Highly recommend!! Great environment with amazing doctors and staff who are so nice and patient with the kiddos! The play area and the TV’s on the ceiling so the kids can watch while laying down is such a plus!

My daughter is 8 and is terrified of the dentist! She normally has to have iv sedation if she needs any work done which requires me to travel far. She had to get a filling today and a couple baby teeth pulled. She didn’t even flinch! The doctors and all staff were amazing!! Highly recommend!!

All the girls were extremely sweet and nice, as well as the Doctor being very professional and great with the kids. The office was clean, the doctors were professional, and they treated us like family. I recommend this practice to anyone with small children that is unsure who to trust.. we are so relieved we finally found a good dentist in the area..

My son is two years old and absolutely loves coming to the dentist! The office is beautiful and the staff is amazing! So sweet! We love Taylor! She was so good with him! The play area was probably his favorite!!!! Highly recommend!!!!
