I was with my son waiting in front. We waited 20 minutes. Then she said she can't see him because they're on lunch. I said I'll wait since he needs a school paperwork. They let other people come after lunch, but told me no. I don't speak Spanish, maybe that's why they didn't give me the same opportunity. Felt really unfair.

Horrible. The new staff don't pick up the phone or return messages. My son had an appointment on Oct 11, 2022, and the doctor said to call back in a week if we couldn't get a tooth out. It's two weeks later, Nov 4, and I still can't reach them. I'm going elsewhere for treatment, which is a shame because the doctors and assistants are wonderful. Just can't get through to schedule anything.

This place is TRASH. I've been trying to schedule an appointment for my daughter for weeks. Every time the appointment is a day or two away, I get a text to reschedule. When I call and someone finally answers, they say it's because the doctor has a family emergency. This is the 4th 'emergency.' Ridiculous. I would never recommend anyone waste their time here.

First visit with Dr. Shah was great. After that, my sister would take my son for me. She said they were rude and rushed the whole procedure, and told me to take him somewhere else. Now I see why with all the bad reviews.

Worst place ever. It seems to have change the staff and the new staff is horrible. Treated me and my daughter really bad. The front desk has ni education at all. Dont go to this place

I'm giving 1 star so people know. Worst place ever. The doctor was nasty. My child had a tooth hanging, in pain, bleeding a lot. She said she couldn't take it out or give anything for pain, that I needed to wait for my child to do it himself. I asked for a referral to another doctor. Took my child to the ER and they took it out no hesitation. Called back to follow up and they...

What a garbage place. First, it's dirty. Second, the staff and doctor are rude and do nothing. They try to make you come back multiple times to bill you. My son had two cavities. They made me come for an exam, then to fill them, but didn't say they'd only do one at a time. Never asked which tooth hurt. Got nasty when I complained. Go somewhere else. They don't care about your kid.

Update: I'm not sure why but there are different doctors now, none I've seen before. My earlier visits were good. But this new dentist? She was rude—didn't say a word when checking my kids' teeth. The assistant told me what was going on, but she just walked in, looked, and walked out. Super unprofessional. I won't be returning. Originally: My kids and I always had great experiences. Dr. Shah is wonderful and so is everyone who assists her.

Honestly, the staff here is super friendly and professional. My kids actually feel comfortable coming in, and that puts me at ease too. Dr. and the assistants are always helpful. I've never had to wait long like at other places, but they don't rush through the visit either. The only downside is parking can be tough in Paterson, but if you take the bus, it's really convenient. Overall, a solid choice for pediatric dentistry.

The best in Paterson. My 2-year-old felt so comfortable, and it was his first time. My 10-year-old got fillings and extractions in less than 15 minutes. Customer service was quick and polite. I wish the downstairs was like that. I recommend this place to everyone with little children.
