I'm really frustrated with this office. I scheduled a filling appointment for my youngest daughter a month in advance, and my oldest daughter took her. When they got there, the receptionist said she couldn't be seen without a parent or a notarized consent letter. The thing is, I've already notarized that form twice before, and my oldest has taken her for cleanings and fillings multiple times with no issues. It's just been really inconsistent and annoying to deal with.

Very bad experience in the summer of 2025, my kids refuse to go back. Two of the three had a terrible experience during their cleaning, they were soaking wet when they came out of the room and said that the staff was talking over their heads nonstop and when they tried telling them they're getting wet and uncomfortable - they felt they didn't notice them. They came out angry, upset, frustrated. We switched to another provider.

We had a really positive experience here. My daughter needed two cavities filled, and the staff was professional, patient, and reassuring the whole time. They explained everything in detail and answered all my questions. I appreciated how they helped ease her anxiety. Overall, very pleased with the restorative care we got in Teaneck.

Such a great experience at Pediatric Dentistry of Teaneck! My son was super cooperative, and the staff made everything so easy. They really go above and beyond for the kids. I got my braces done here as an adult, and honestly, my orthodontist was extremely rude. She kept making comments about how bad my teeth were and sent me to my regular dentist multiple times for x-rays that showed nothing wrong. She was also really aggressive with the braces — constant shoving and yanking left me with cuts in my mouth. Felt rushed and unprofessional.

Each of the dentists my kids have seen are really sweet. They get the kids accustomed to the tools and sing songs to keep them entertained and calm. The only reason I wouldn’t give five stars is because it can be difficult to get through to the office when on the phone.
Horrible place they did my son terrible blacked my son teeth and then claimed it was fluoride. They told me they would clean my son teeth, used an adult toothbrush, barely cleaned it and now my son teeth look worse than what it was before he attended this appointment . Paid almost 350$ cash rushed us out after and did not care at all .After the visit took 5 mins that’s how fast they rushed on my son teeth.would not recommend this place to no one honestly.

Dr Shon and her team are wonderful. Dr Shon made sure that my daughter JW was comfortable throughout the session and painless. Walking out of any dentist appointment would never be defined as painless but Dr Shon made sure that the visit was a great one.
