Very efficient. They addressed my concerns and answered all my questions about my dental plan. Friendly staff too. Definitely coming back for the follow-up.
Thanks for coming in! Happy we could answer your questions about your dental plan here in Salisbury. Looking forward to seeing you for your follow-up!
Super professional staff. The hygienist did a great job with the teeth cleaning. Dr. Brar was easy to talk to. Highly recommend their office.
So glad you had a great experience with our team in Salisbury! We're proud of our teeth cleaning services. Thanks for the recommendation!
Everyone was very polite, very detailed and friendly. Great experience
Dr. Hyland has been my dentist for a couple years now. She's done fillings and crowns for me, and she's always super friendly and professional. Most importantly, she knows what she's doing. I've also had some emergency dental issues and she got me in the next business day. Absolutely wonderful doctor, thank you!
Thanks for the kind words! We're glad Dr. Hyland could help with your fillings and crowns here in Salisbury. It's great to know you felt taken care of during emergency visits too. See you next time!
Scam artists!! Do not go! They charged me for a cleaning while I was sitting in the chair, told me I needed more work than needed, and then I got a bill in the mail for the cleaning that was lower than what they charged me on the chair before they did the work!!
We're sorry to hear about your experience. At Peninsula Dental Center in Salisbury, we strive for transparent pricing. We'd like to review your account to address any discrepancies. Please contact our office so we can make this right.
They never answer the phone or return phone calls. I left 5 messages to schedule a follow-up appointment, and now that I'm in pain they tell me I have a balance due, but I never received an invoice.
We apologize for the communication issues. At Peninsula Dental Center in Salisbury, we aim to respond promptly. Please call us and ask for our office manager so we can resolve the billing and scheduling concerns right away.
Dr. B did my cleaning and he was excellent, very friendly and professional. It was the best cleaning I ever had. However, the doctor (not my usual one) never discussed any concerns or future recommendations. I found out at checkout that I had 2 things that needed to be addressed. I guess it'll be addressed next time.
Thanks for the feedback! We're glad you enjoyed your cleaning with Dr. B in Salisbury. We apologize for the lack of follow-up discussion. We'll ensure our team reviews all findings with you before checkout next time.
My first visit here I was very impressed. Bonnie who worked on my dentures couldn't have been more pleasant. She also did a really good job on them. I will continue using this office.
Thank you! Bonnie is wonderful, and we're glad she took great care of your dentures here in Salisbury. Looking forward to seeing you again!
As other reviews stated, this dental place is money hungry no matter if the services they require are necessary or not. They keep taking unnecessary X-rays and ripping you off. I'm so happy I don't need to be ripped off further after I had a second opinion and found a dental office that charges reasonable and fair!
We're sorry you felt that way. At Peninsula Dental Center in Salisbury, we follow standard diagnostic protocols to ensure proper care. We'd be happy to discuss any concerns about your treatment plan. Please reach out so we can address this.
Peninsula Dental Center provided me with excellent service today. The staff went above and beyond to meet my every concern. They all took time to explain everything in detail. Highly recommend them.
Thanks so much! We're glad our team in Salisbury could take the time to explain everything. Looking forward to your next visit!
Peninsula Dental Center has always been my favorite dental center. The staff is always so kind and friendly. I've seen a few doctors here over the years but I am so glad to see Dr B is back ! I cannot thank you and your team enough for taking care of me, and my family so well. I always recommend this practice to anyone needing dental services.
This office has gotten a lot better since my first visit 6 months ago, maybe because the front office staff has changed. The experience today was nice. I appreciated getting in and out very quickly. They were calling me back as soon as I walked in. Great service
Dentists are very nice. But that's it. Staff seem to hate working there and are down right rude. Will not even say Good Morning to you. First thing out of their mouths is your balance due is...and pay now. Wife left 8-10 messages for Billing Dept, never received call back. Want you to pay half just to make appointment for service. Seem to only care about the money. If you like being treated like dirt, give them a call
Very good experience all around! Every phase of my treatment was excellent and it was clear that all the staff truly cared about me. I have finally found MY dentist!
Arrived as scheduled, filled out my new patient information papers, and consented to treatment. Received x-rays then was led to the back to sit in my chair (which there are no walls in between patients so you can hear everyone's conversations). I had a dental hygienist (I'm assuming) get me set up and proceeded to pull my bottom lip down and say, "you might need a full cleaning but I'm not sure, let me see what your insurance will cover". I agreed and waited until she returned. However, someone else from the front desk returned (billing staff?) instead and proceeded to tell me that a full cleaning will need to be done and would cost $120. Apparently they "ran my insurance" and said this is the out of pocket cost and I would have to pay that amount before they can do anything else. I wasn't expecting that much up front and was thrown off (was even asked to pay half if I couldn't do it in full). Then the staff person proceeded to ask if I had the Care Credit to charge it, which I did but did not want to add more money on it, per my financial situation and just overall my decision. She ended up finding my account for the card and showed me how much credit I had on it stating, "you can afford to do this". In addition, this same staff person went on to tell me I "really needed to get all my teeth cleaned" and that my mouth was "really bad". I already have a lot of anxiety about going to a dentist and past trauma from pain and discomfort to begin with. Then to top it all off, I'm going to a new place and being told my teeth were bad (which they're not nor do I have any pain, I just wanted to get a cleaning). I felt pressured to give money up front to have anything done, was questioned about using a card that I did not bring up nor wanted to use, then was told that I needed the cleaning in order to find out if there was anything "bad" underneath. Just found the experience to be unprofessional and rude...especially when I said how I'm anxious and don't like being at the dentist office and I was advised to "just not think about it". I'd recommend they have deeper conversations with their patients about continuity of care, patient preferences, and to try alleviate their worries, rather than pushing payments and trying to convince people what they should do. I did not feel heard nor validated. This is why I don't go to the dentist as often as I should...very off putting experience for me.
Went for my first visit. The staff and Dentist were very nice. It had been a while since I have been to the dentist because I always put off going, but this visit was very pleasant. I plan on being a regular patient with them. One of my better experiences at the dentist.
I just wanted to say thank you! I didn't have to wait until May to get my adjustment, I was seen today. Thank you Jan and Lexie, your service was excellent. The care that I received today was great. Your patient care was exceptional and that meant a lot.
Your prompt attention made this place worth trying again.
Called to cancel an appointment months in advance. Low and behold I get charged for late-canceling an appointment after recieving an automatic notification for the appointment and canceling via the message system. Because they have such a high turnover rate, the front desk is new. They didn’t take my phone call or remember the conversation. Of course there isn’t anything on record. But that’s not their problem; if I expect to be seen I either pay them, or I don’t pay and then get charged for another canceled appointment after walking out and… what? Go to court? Risk my credit score taking a knock over $150? There’s a reason this place is the only one taking new patients in the area. At this point it be smarter to take a day off work and drive 2hrs to stay in network. AVOID.
Let me say the front desk, scheduling and X-ray are on point and did everything possible to make my first visit perfect! Now the female doctor on duty never once looked inside of my mouth for the actual exam. Going into the appointment I knew several teeth needed extracted. Which means I didn’t know anymore leaving there as I did coming in. I have no clue of the plan of action needed to get my oral care to par. I am very dissatisfied with the care I received! I wasn’t a person in pain seeking medical treatment! I have an active infection and wasn’t offered a treatment plan for that either! I’m honestly not sure if I will be returning and trusting my care is at the best interest of this dentist. Since I surely wasn’t a priority today!
Everyone is SUPER NICE & FUNNY!! People are smiling, no pun intended. Everyone just seems happy to be working there! Dr. J is awesome, so nice and had a very comprehensive explanation of everything happening or needing to happen. They were upfront about pricing and they have a VERY flexible schedule!!! GO!!!
Thanks for the awesome review! We're thrilled you enjoyed our team and Dr. J's thorough explanations. Flexible scheduling is something we pride ourselves on here in Salisbury. Hope to see you again soon!
