Extremely difficult to get appointments and account support for my family. Calls dropped, support team couldn't hear me, call center was hard to understand. The office is constantly unavailable through the call center. Appointments got canceled because they couldn't contact us. Frustrating serviceβlooking elsewhere. Really surprised.

My son had an emergency with his two front teeth and Porter Dental got us in next day first thing in the morning. Everyone was super kind and interactive with my kid. They did a double extraction right then and there. They let me be part of the whole process, which was huge since my son was terrified. Honestly, they made it easy and quickβwe were home resting within two hours. The only thing is I wish the dentist had spoken to me directly instead of relaying through assistants, but overall I'm grateful for the emergency dentistry in Salisbury. Couldn't be happier with how they handled it.

Had a back tooth pulled and didn't feel a thing. A minute later it was outβsuper quick. The oral surgeon was nice and told me step by step what he was doing as he went. All the staff were so sweet. Honestly, if you need oral surgery in Salisbury, this is the place. Highly recommend.

My son had a loose tooth we thought was a baby tooth ready to come out, but when we tried to pull it, it bled and wouldn't budge. Looked like it could be broken. We took him to Porter Dental on a Saturday morningβthey said they usually don't take emergency cases on weekends but saw him anyway. Turned out it was just his baby tooth lining up with the new one. The dentist understood our concern. Quick and awesomeβreally appreciate them for emergency dentistry in Salisbury.

I highly recommend Porter Dental! The doctors are amazingβtheir skill is like a miracle. My son had tooth fragments deeply embedded in his gums that other dentists wouldn't touch. The doctor here handled it with calm and expertise, finishing the surgery in record time. Front desk is warm and professional too. Five stars isn't enough. Pros: They're the only local provider who accepts my daughter's insurance, got her in quickly, and the procedure went smoothly. Cons: Our post-op kit was incomplete, some staff wore surgical masks incorrectly, and getting a school note was like pulling teeth (pun intended). So mixed feelings.

Would I go somewhere else if my insurance were accepted? Absolutely. The front desk woman with glasses seemed unhappyβsurprising for a kids' office. She told me my appointment was canceled because I didn't confirm, but they had the wrong phone number and never verified it. Luckily there was still an opening so I was seen. I got an email but it didn't ask me to confirm. Just frustrating all around.

My daughter had an appointment today. The receptionist and hygienist were kind. But then we waited over an hour for the dentist while she saw other patients who came after us. I had to get up and ask nicely when my daughter would be seen. She did it right away, but it felt disrespectful, especially for a 6-year-old who loses patience fast.

Plan on being there a very long time to get through front check in and then back service. Over 2.5 hours for a minor cleaning. Front desk needs some major help. Very depressing feel for a place going for a kids only set up. We will never be back. One and done.

My son just had his wisdom teeth extracted. The whole staff was very friendly and were great at keeping him calm. He was very nervous, but they joked and kept the situation light while also answering any questions. We are very pleased with our experience.

The staff were really friendly and helpful. The first dentist office Iβve taken my son (whoβs autistic)to that was kind and gentle with him. The lady who cleaned his teeth was very patient and was able to keep him calm the entire time.

We had a decent experience here for a couple of years. However, recently, because of their scheduling methods, it has been very bad. I have been trying to schedule my kids for their regular check-up and the appointment has been cancelled each time, just before the date. This has happened FOUR times in a row. Their "off-shore" schedulers have no idea what the actual options for local offices are. It just isn't worth it. We are moving on.

Staff was very friendly and wait times were reasonable. The only real constructive feedback that comes to mind is that the welcome packet that you fill out as a new patient is so long. You could completely streamline that process by having new patients fill that out online prior to their visit. But otherwise, they were great with my two kids!
