My hygienist Taylor does a fantastic job with my smile—I've always had dental anxiety, but not here. She's super patient, teaches me best practices, and explains every step. My youngest has severe anxiety too, and after our first appointment she said she loved it, which was a huge relief. We've had multiple services like routine cleanings and cosmetic dentistry done, and every time the treatment is exceptional. Couldn't be happier with Real Life Dental in Salem, VA!

What a great experience I had at Real Life Dental in Salem, VA. I recently had a root canal and returned this week for a temporary crown. My experience with Real Life Dental in Salem was not a positive one. This summer I had a cleaning appointment after not having been for several years (lived out of state for college). The staff incorrectly and rudely stated that I had not been to the dentist in 5 years, to which I explained that this was incorrect (I had visited one of their sister locations). Additionally, the dental filling that I received here resulted in an emergency root canal costing 3k, and leaving me in excruciating pain while on my honeymoon. After the procedure, I requested for my X-rays/images to be sent to my new clinic, which Real Life Dental failed to do. To add to all of this, I have serious concerns for my medical information being compromised as the staff was speaking to one of my family members about details regarding my appointment without my knowledge or consent.
I would NOT recommend this clinic.
