Honestly, after seeing all the great reviews online, I was really hoping for a better experience at this Edison, NJ dentist. I scheduled my appointment online for Saturday March 7th at 1 PM - it showed as the earliest available. But then I got four calls and a couple texts within an hour saying that time didn't work for the doctor, even though I'd asked them to text me because of my work schedule. I showed up 15 minutes before 12pm, and the front desk was nice enough when I got there. They seated me about 10 minutes after my appointment time, but the whole scheduling thing was pretty frustrating.

Had to get a bone graft and extraction on my back tooth at RIU Dental in Edison, and honestly, I thought I'd feel some pain after the anesthesia wore off. But surprisingly, there was no pain afterwards - even the next day, nothing! I was really happy about that. Excellent job well done. The whole staff made me feel very comfortable and were super professional with the oral surgery. Couldn't believe how pain-free it was.

Excellent service. They got modern equipments. Making it clear, no pain cleaning up. I am used to the pain taking teeth x-rays. There’s no pain here.

Great experience. Staff was very humble and courteous. Doctor including the support staff was very patient, gave enough time to hear the problem along with my constraints and then accordingly suggested the medication and procedures required.

Cannot say enough positive things about my overall experience .
They were very accommodating with scheduling, super friendly and professional. The place was immaculate in each room and it was oddly enough a pleasure to have a root canal done.
I'd recommend the practice to anyone, especially those with any dental anxiety as this was the first time ever I wasn't white knuckling the chair getting work done

What led me to choose this dental office out of the hundreds available in Edison was that on their website, they stated that they specialize in dental anxiety. As someone who has severe dental phobia, and a very low pain tolerance, Dr Kumar and the entire staff were unbelievably patient, understanding and kind. I felt confident and comfortable knowing that the health of my teeth are in the very capable and knowledgeable hands of Dr Kumar.
