Saw Dr. Parulis at this Roanoke office for a broken tooth and an extra bottom tooth. He never looked at my referral, didn't address the bottom tooth issue, and said all my top teeth had to be pulled for an implant or denture. My dentist and orthodontist said I needed a bridge. Left feeling like he was just interested in making money, so I won't be going back.

Consultation was mixed. Nurses and other staff were really nice. Dr played a video that did nothing but scare my child . She blew me off and offered cold spray when we said my child wants their hand held by me to get their first ever IV. Basically we got charged to wait ,watch a video that could have been sent by email that the chil did not need to see.., and of course to find out what the payment would be . Less than impressed.

A uniformly positive experience. Dr. Margolis and all the staff were superb. My (excellent and very experienced) dentist preferred to have the molar extracted by Roanoke Oral Surgeons, and they made it seem routine. Post-op recovery has been uneventful.
I do not recommend this oral surgery office in Roanoke. Dr. Redout was rude and dismissive, and I didn't feel confident in her abilities. She discouraged me from getting a 3D scan I offered to pay for. Brittany, the assistant office manager, was courteous and competent though. Dr. Margolis refused to do my procedure when I requested him, so I wouldn't recommend him either. Found another oral surgeon instead.

I have been a patient of Dr. Parulis for 15 years and I would not ask for anyone else.
I have had quite a bit of treatment by Dr. Margolis and his team. I would use them again if I need more treatment. The treatment room has always been clean and ready for me. The assistants and nurses are kind and patient. When Dr Margolis comes into the room he stops and takes a moment greet me and check to see how I am doing. He doesn't just rush to get the job done so he can get to the next patient. The most important thing he makes sure I am good and numb stopping to give more novacaine and waiting for it to take effect before continuing with my treatment. I was a dental assistant for 25years and feel Dr Margolis and his staff are top notch.
I've been seen by Dr. Margolis several times over the last few years and have have always had very good dealings with him. He's very professional but also very friendly. He remembers me even if it's been a couple of years between visits. He makes extractions hurt as little as possible and really shows a great level of care and empathy for his patients. I trust him completely. I've had nothing but pleasant interaction with all of the staff. They don't treat you like a stranger. I was a bit sad when they changed offices because they were literally 2 blocks away from me, but the new office is much larger and beautiful, and to be honest, though it's further away for me, it's much easier to access from the road than the old office was. I would absolutely recommend Dr. Margolis at Roanoke Oral Surgery any time.

A scary tooth extraction turned out to be a breeze! Doctors were encouraging and patient, staff was extremely friendly and no insurance rates were better than I expected. I didn’t have to wait in waiting room, procedure was done expertly and with plenty of explanation. No pain 24 hours later, healing well and I am more than willing to recommend Roanoke Dental Arts!
