My son was brought here for his routine dentist visit ….. my wife was notified while my son was in the back that a sealant tube exploded in his mouth … this has caused serious burns inside and outside of his mouth he is in pain and I as his father am severely pissed off ….. and I would like an explanation on the negligence that caused this

I was seen for two cavities fillings in March and was left with pain each time I went I left with the same pain after telling them my concerns. This has never happened to me before until I switched dentist to this one. I will say staff is great and sweet but after having a procedure done that left me with pain I wouldn’t recommend this dentistry. I went to a different dentist who is now saying I need a crown on my tooth due to the damage that was done!

Very disappointed by the way the receptionist has handled my calls. I reached out to receive a second opinion after doing an exam with another clinic. The receptionist explained that they will still have to charge me for an entire exam even with me providing the X-rays and everything. After scheduling a time, I received a text the day of that my appointment was cancelled. Same receptionist claimed that she called and left a voice message which wasn’t true. I asked when the next appointment available will be and it wasn’t until 7 days from now. I tried to ask if there’s a way to maybe squeeze in a short appointment since again - all the X-rays were taken and her response was “you don’t have to do business with us, you can always go back to the original provider”. We ended the call and I thought I’ll try one more time to schedule. At that point the receptionist said they’re refusing to take me as a patient and claimed that I demanded the Dr. will see me even though she had a family emergency? As a small business owner myself with employees, I would never EVER say something like that to anyone, especially another professional. I have no idea how a phone call can get so misconstrued and why the receptionist treated me the way she did. I’m surprised that people who work at this profession don’t have more empathy towards prospective patients who are already in a situation that is uncomfortable for them, and instead of answering with compassion, they will be so apathetic. Unfortunately my insurance doesn’t give me that many options which I guess this practice is using as leverage for not putting that much effort into making their prospective patients feel like they’re walking into an understanding and welcoming environment. Hopefully I’ll be able to find an alternative that does

I have had a difficult history with dental professionals in the past. I was even told by one not to come back. Dr. Hissam and her staff showed patience and understanding to my particular brand of chicken. I am by far her worse patient. But her office is a safe place for me and they treat the whole patient. Dr. Hissam is personal, kind and never makes me feel bad for being afraid of the dentist at my :) age. She and her staff are thorough, careful and explain what they are doing. They give updates and encourage you throughout. You never feel rushed. Dr. HIssam's office is clean, open and welcoming. Do I want to bring each and every friend and relative to her? Yes, yes I do.
