My kids used to come here, and at first the staff was amazing. But the new dentist? Forget about it—she has no patience with kids. My son has anxiety, and she kept yelling at him because he raised his hand for suction. Then she told my other kid, who was waiting his turn, to stop talking. They made me promise not to bring them back, so we switched to Shield Dental in Fall River. Best decision I made for their pediatric care.

Honestly, we were so stressed when our 2-year-old fell and hit his mouth—had to find emergency dentistry in Fall River, MA fast. As someone with major anxiety about dentists and needles, the staff at Shanti Dental in Fall River are amazing. The all-female team makes me feel so comfortable, and Vina the assistant is super nice—she really loves her job. She communicates my concerns to the dentist, who's also friendly and takes her time. I went to Shanti dental because of a bad experience at Aspen Dental. A place with good reviews and state of the art equipment turned into a 6,000 nightmare. All the bad work has been fixed by Shanti dental. I was treated with respect by all of the staff, leaving me feeling very comfortable with becoming a permanent patient there.
Edit; I keep calling to make an appointment no one is answering or returning my calls. Thinking I had a good reliable dentist to go to didn't pan out for me. 🤷♀️
I used to go to a different dentist. He was arrogant and didn't take emergency appts. Which besides cleaning and filling the only time you NEED a dentist to be available is for emergencies when you're in pain. Or at least for me. I found Shanti Dental during a dental emergency and ended up switching my whole family over. Dr. Varshini ended up coming on a few months after I made the switch. Her and her assistant Vina have been amazing and gone above and beyond to make sure I am comfortable and taken care of. Especially when I was pregnant. She would stop and check in more than average to make sure I was good. Her hand for giving lidocaine is amazing and in tender spots she talks me through it. I am very grateful for this dentist office.
As a 24/7 caregiver for my mom, I only want the best for her. After a bad experience at Alpha Dental in Fall River, I found Shanti Dental—total blessing. The team here is incredible; after 4 or 5 visits, I'm always impressed with the care they give. The assistant is beyond caring and makes sure my mom's comfortable every time. Horrible experience at Shanti Dental in Fall River! The new dentist botched a simple root canal. Another patient warned me she had the same issue before I even got in the chair. The dentist was double-booked and rushed through my procedure, going back and forth between patients. Now I'm in severe pain that's getting worse, and they're ignoring me—called after hours, sent info, no response. Today, no one's answering the phone. Complete negligence with root canal therapy; I'll never come back.

The staff are still friendly, but....
Since they have got basically a whole new staff it's gone down hill. It's hard to get ahold of them. You sit in the waiting room 30 minutes to almost an hour past your time. Not including how long they have you wait in the chair. They are way to over booked now.
I have been going to this dentist office for the last year now. I really enjoy it. I never have to wait around for my appointment. All of the paperwork is up to date ahead of time which I really appreciate. The atmosphere is clean and professional. I wish I found Ashanti Dental sooner!
Pretty good dentist but im giving one star because the dental assistant there is unbearable. The whole time im getting a root canal shes talking about how the other person in the next room stinks soo bad and constantly complaining and talking about her spouse. Very unprofessional.
Absolutely love this office. The staff is always pleasant and very respectful and empathetic. Doctor is very wonderful, knowledgeable so pleasant. I was always a very nervous person at my previous dentist and had bad experiences I‘m never nervous now going to this office I never feel any pain I’m very comfortable And always leave the office having all my questions answered, and my next appointment already booked Now that I found them, I can’t imagine going anywhere else

This was my first appointment with Shanti dental after my dentist retired. I meet with the dental assistant Miss Amanda who was very upbeat and welcoming. X-ray's were taken and displayed on a monitor in front of us. That was something I had never seen before that made it easy to explain the problem I had with one of my teeth. When the examination and cleaning started miss Amanda explained what she was doing as she proceeded. All of this and the beautiful view of the bay with a good mix of soft music in the background made for a pleasant visit. I have already made another appointment

What a great place! I didn't have a regular dentist but needed an extraction right away. I was given a quick appointment, paperwork done electronically. Quick and easy. The best staff ever. I have a general fear of dentistry and they made me feel so at ease. I was guided through every step and I was treated very well. I have decided that this will be my new dentist! I can't recommend this office highly enough! First of all I called for an appointment at 10 am and the dentist went out of his way to make sure my son was seen that day. As soon as we walked to the clean, quiet waiting room my son-who has anxiety about going to any dentist- said " I like this place mom, it's so calm here" and he was dead on; the overall energy in there is so calming. The staff is wonderful, we were treated quickly but not rushed, and we left feeling relieved to have finally found our family's dentist office. Seriously I would give this place 10 stars if I could!
