Honestly, this was a really disappointing experience at Share Dental Care in Edison, NJ. I came in needing a root canal, which my old dentist had already diagnosed, but they made me schedule a cleaning first before even checking it out. That just delayed everything. The cleaning itself was actually the best part—the female dentist did a great job with that. But after that, things got frustrating. Dr. Patel did the root canal, but I kept having pain in other teeth and mentioned it multiple times, and my concerns just didn’t seem to get addressed.

Our family's been coming to Share Dental Care in Edison for the last 12 years and have always been happy. Recently, we saw Dr. Goral Patel, their newest hire. She has this amazing kind, soft bedside manner. I really appreciated how she explained the ramifications of cavities and now brushing correctly to my child—she showed him the cavities in his mouth, taught him how to brush and floss, and made sure his experience was pleasant even with all those cavities. Couple days ago, I had a traumatic experience at Share Dental Care in Edison with Dr. Goral Patel. I came in already in significant pain, and although she gave anesthesia, she never checked if it was working before starting. She went right into the treatment while I was still feeling everything—I was in agony, but there was no concern for my pain or well-being. Felt like my comfort didn't matter at all. I was screaming. It was incredibly unprofessional and the most painful dental experience I've ever had. I'd strongly advise others in NJ to avoid this for emergency dentistry.

If I were you I would change dentists immediately. They are so rude and unprofessional. The front desk people have no compassion and no respect.

I had a very disappointing experience at Share Dental Care in Edison, NJ. During a root canal procedure, I was abruptly asked to leave the chair because they 'ran out of time'—totally unacceptable, especially for something so critical. Plus, the dentist mistakenly drilled into a tooth that didn't need any work and had no issues before. That was completely unnecessary and concerning. The office manager, Alpa Patel, was extremely rude and unprofessional when I tried to address my concerns, just dismissive and disrespectful. Not a good look for emergency dental service.

The office manager especially is a real piece of work. Do not go where they don’t care about you. They just care about money
If I could make no stars I would they are dirty and there staff is horrible!! I can't speak for all the dentists there but if ur there you represent them and they do such speedy horrible work. Horrible with kids and lack any compassion for people that are afraid of dentists. Trust me save your self the trouble.
Our empathetic staff is very well trained in following strict guidelines for infection control as mandated by OSHA and American Dental Association. We periodically review and enforce guidelines as needed. We value your response.
Office Manager
Bad service! They did a terrible service with my braces. The dr that makes the evaluation for braces is not the one who changes the monthly wires. Many times they made me wait 40 min for a 10 min appt, but if you are late they want to cancel your appt and make you pay $25. However, they can be late over 1:10 and expect you to suck it up. After finally getting my braces removed I got retainers. 3 weeks later after a cleaning done at their office, the retainer came off. Next appt they got it in along with my second retainer. 6 weeks later while eating one retainer came out completely with all the glue. I called them and I was given an appt, then the other retainer started getting loose and I called them to let them know I needed something sooner because it hurt my tongue, I was told to wait until my appt. The day of my appt they made me wait 1 hour and 10 min, then one doctor calls the main dr (owner) and they said why did you not come sooner? I explained I called and was told to wait. Then one dr came with the secretary and tell me that I have to pay $250 to get the retainer back again, for a pretty bad job they did because it still had all the glue they used. The dr said they will charge me $250 for 1 of the 2 retainers. Before getting my braces off I had been told that they also had plastic retainers and when I asked for the price, the grumpy lady that works there took 2 weeks to let me know the price $400 for both (upper and bottom) she said they were expensive. However, when I complained about the $250 price the wanted to charge me for the wire ones the dr said these are more expensive …. I told him he was lying because ai had been told the contrary by the secretary. I guess they just want to charge me for the 2 crappy retainers saying one will be free. My advice, don't get braces in here, they switch drs and sometimes they won’t even clean your teeth when replacing the wires!!
Dr.paresh patel is my family dentist. We have been visiting him for over 2 decades now. He is the best dentist I have ever been to…..very thorough in his work. I just had 2 implants done by him last month and he did an amazing job. He always gets it right the first time. I strongly recommend dr. Paresh patel for any and all dental issues. Even his staff is amazing and friendly and always ready to help. You will never be disappointed.
Dr. Paresh Patel is the best dentist. His recommendations are genuine and perfect. He is professional , kind, straight answers tells truth about the condition of teeth health and treatment cost. This office have advanced technology X-ray machine not painful like other dentist offices. My whole family goes to him for regular checkups. You should go too!
I use to go here all the time. The dentist messed up all my root canals and now years later I’m having to go elsewhere to get it redone. Nobody here is a professional. They just do work in your teeth for no reason to just make money. They keep pushing you to get root canals when you don’t need it. The work they do in your teeth won’t last more than 2 years. I would not recommend this office and go somewhere where they actually know what they are doing. They are very inexperienced and some staff attitudes here are nasty. Such an unpleasant experience.
My visit to Share Dental Care was nothing less than remarkable. I was received warmly at reception and waited no longer than 10 minutes. My hygienist was very skilled and patient focused, ensuring I was comfortable at several points throughout my cleaning. Dr. Patel then performed his own thorough examination and was able to comprehensively answer any questions I had regarding my dental health. He had a great bedside manner, and I instantly felt at ease from beginning to end of our visit. I look forward to my next visit at Share Dental Care and highly recommend their services.
