I was a patient of Dr. Liss for 25 years. He recently retired which caused me some anxiety. Dr. Liss was the best dentist I ever had in my life. Extremely proficient, easy going and earned the nickname I gave him of “Dr. Painliss!” A new group of dentists took over the practice. Naturally with change comes some anxiety. There were still many familiar faces at the practice but new dentists. I did not know what to expect. I needed to have two cavities filled and a crown put in place. Well, I can say without hesitation that Dr. Liss found the right folks to continue his excellent legacy. Dr. Shirgavi performed the needed work. She was excellent, no pain, very compassionate and a great sense of humor. While I was having the work done, I could hear the interaction other patients were having with their hygienist, it struck me that you don’t often hear easy going banter and laughter in a dentist's office. For anyone who is transitioning from Dr. Liss have no fear you are in great hands. Dr. Shirgavi and the whole team at Shoreline Dental provide the highest quality of care in a comforting environment. I can say without hesitation my experience at Shoreline was excellent and the new dentists and staff are committed to ensuring the patient’s outcome and experience is their first concern. I recommend Shoreline Dental to anyone who needs dental services delivered in a professional manner with a good dose of caring.

I’ve never seen anyone handle a baby the way Vy did with Chloe. From the second she walked in, Chloe was calm. Vy didn’t rush, didn’t force smiles, didn’t talk at her. She got down to Chloe’s level, made her feel safe, and somehow turned what could’ve been stressful into something easy and almost fun. There was so much patience in every little thing that Vy did; the tone of her voice, the way she waited instead of pushing, the way she read Chloe’s reactions instead of following some script. Honestly, had such a great experience at this dentist office in Hanover, MA! Everyone was super friendly and welcoming, made the whole visit feel comfortable and stress-free. Siobhan at the front desk was especially amazing—so sweet, patient, and super helpful with booking and scheduling. You can really tell they care about their patients here. Definitely will be back for my regular dental checkups!

While I could go on and on about how amazing Dr. Liss was and his practice, unfortunately I do not have a single nice thing to say about Shoreline Dental since they took over. To speak to anyone on the phone to resolve a simple issue took a ridiculous amount of time and aggravation, each person we spoke with was like Groundhog Day all over again. They have stripped the waiting room of the fish tanks that my boys used to enjoy watching while they waited…it seems very empty and tacky now. The front desk is overflowing with paperwork that I couldn’t help noticing and wondering what sensitive material was there.

The service here is very efficient and accommodating. Vy, my usual dental hygienist, is friendly and always ready to answer questions without any judgement. The rest of the staff is also great. They gave me some squishies and waited until I was comfortable before proceeding. Couldn't ask for a better experience in Hanover, MA!

I find it appalling that my husband was refused a cleaning because he didn't want to have his teeth x-rayed. He had no issues that required dental work, just wanted a cleaning. But after denying the x-rays to the hygienist, the doctor came in to convince him it was standard procedure to x-ray every tooth and then told him she wouldn't alow the cleaning without them. Absurd!
Always have a good experience here in Hanover, MA. My hygienist, Vy, is very thorough and does a great job making me feel comfortable during my cleaning. Dr. Shirgavi is also very pleasant and great at answering questions. Everything from the teeth cleaning to the checkup is top-notch.

I was so grateful today when the office got me in and began a root canal. The dentists are so nice and very are very good dentists.
