I've been here a few times and absolutely love this place. So relieved to find a dentist in LA who genuinely cares about my teeth without making me feel taken advantage of—especially after a bad experience elsewhere. Silverlake Smiles is nothing like that. The team is knowledgeable, efficient, and professional. Office is clean and well-run. Every dentist and assistant I've worked with has been wonderful. Started Invisalign in December 2025. Noticed spacing in my lower tray about 3 months in. Was told to use a towel or chewies. Went for X-rays a month later, the woman said my bones were moving too fast and to switch to 2-week changes instead of 1. She said that would help with the spacing. Finished treatment and my top row isn't straight, bottom looks worse than when I started, just in a different way. Really disappointed with the Invisalign treatment and the lack of detail.

As a long-time patient, I've found care to be rushed and not very detail-oriented. Exams are brief, sometimes only visual, and there were visits without a dentist involved. Concerns weren't consistently evaluated in depth. On the plus side, front desk communication, appointments, office, and location were all A+.

I feel I need to write this review to benefit others. I went to Silverlake smile because of the 5 stars review. I have been going there for a year. I don’t have any problem with cleaning but other real dental works by Dr. Julie were horrible. I have a filling that fell out twice and was fixed by other dentist. My crown broke just after 6 months and I have to redo. My son’s had a filling and suffered toothache for a couple of months because of bad adjustment. If you want good dental work, please don’t go to this place. They only care about money. Dr. Julie is fast but very sloppy.
After giving a one star for the review, Dr. Julie has immediately reached out to me to explain offer all the help she can with my problems. I do appreciate very much that she truly wants to make things right for her patients. Hence I revise my rating to 4 stars.

The best dentist I have ever had!! I got veneer replacements and they turned out so beautiful and natural. I get complimented on them all the time and am so grateful. 10/10 experience. Needed a second opinion after my last dentist prescribed 8 fillings, and botched the first one TWICE. Luckily, I found Silverlake Smiles before they could do any more damage.
Dr. Juliet not only fixed my tooth in minutes, but also laid out a realistic treatment plan for 2 minor cavities. She and the staff were friendly, honest, and extremely helpful. Plus, there was no pressure to schedule my next appointment while my bank account recovers.

I LOVE Silverlake Smiles. Such amazing folks work here, and you always feel at ease during your dental work. The facility is SUPER clean and inviting—not like those typical fluorescent light offices. Quality of work is FANTASTIC, and I always feel good after leaving. So grateful they accept my insurance. And they have parking, which is mind-blowing here in LA. 10/10 would recommend.
