I called Sitwell after open enrollment to confirm my appointments, and they said everything was fine but then told me my insurance would be dropped. Then they canceled all my future appointments without telling me. Nowhere in their letter or on the phone did they say I had to reach out to stay a patient. This isn't the first time communication fell through. Really frustrating and disappointing.

I used to love this practice when Dr. Cami was my dentist. But now when I call, they say she only takes special patients. It took me years to come back to the dentist because I only trust her. I feel like the practice has gotten too big for me. I can't keep track of which appointment is at which location, and when I call, nobody answers. Now I'm about to miss another cleaning and it'll be another year before they can fit me in. I'm done.

The whole team is super kind, no matter which provider you see. Dr. Chang is gentle, patient, and really pays attention to detail—she's done a lot of our dental work, including some cosmetic dentistry. We've visited both the Malta and Saratoga offices and seen John and Tiffany. Couldn't ask for a better practice. They really care about the community. About six months ago, I started coming to Sitwell after avoiding dentists for years because of bad experiences that gave me serious anxiety. Dr. John has done several extractions, bone grafts, crowns, root canals, and fillings, and I have implant surgery scheduled next month. As someone with high dental anxiety Dr John always makes me feel super calm and I know i can alway trust him to do an awesome job, I have gotten fillings, crowns and a root canal from him and always very happy, they have the best dental assistants and front desk staff.. 10/10 recommended Sitwell Dental to everyone!
First time at Sitwell Malta and had a great experience. (With one small suggestion). My hygienist Sheila was great at putting me at ease; very welcoming and gentle since my teeth are super sensitive. All areas were clean and equipment appeared state of the art. Dr Cami was so nice and thorough. Answering all my questions about future care. I would highly recommend. Just one small pet peeve…. I arrived 20 minutes early for a 9 am appt and wasn’t asked to fill out new patient forms until 9 - the receptionist had forgotten! Not a deal breaker but a little annoying. Other than that, everyone from check in to check out was courteous and helpful
I have had several cleanings by Haley who does a fabulous job!! Dr John takes his time and explains treatments needed and with a few new crowns things are moving along nicely. Highly recommend Sitwell Malta to anyone looking for a family dentist.
Edit: just went back for a double extraction. Dr Chang is simply talented and amazing and I love her professional and sweet personality. She is so gentle that I barely felt TWO extractions.
First visit for a root canal. I am terrified of the dentist. Dr. Chang and Arielle were so amazing. Arielle was so sweet and made me feel welcome and less scared. Dr. Chang and Arielle did great quick work, didn’t judge me or hurt me. Dr. Chang was able to save a badly decayed tooth and not extract. Sitwell is also in network for state workers which was hard for me to find a more advanced dentist that took my insurance. The tvs above are a wonderful touch I loved watching the dogs!!! They also got me in the next day after calling them. Thank you guys so so much again!

Had a cleaning with Haley today—she's been my hygienist since I started coming to Sitwell Malta. No need to try anyone else because she's so detailed and knowledgeable. She listens and really tries to make you comfortable. I shyly mentioned I didn't like the water cleaning, and she switched to the regular tool without hesitation. She's kind and sweet. This was my first time here after moving from my old Dentist office. Sheila and Ava made my experience AMAZING! Sheila is my all time favorite hygienist. She was so kind, knowledgeable, personal and gentle when working on me. Ava was very productive in getting me an appointment in a very timely manner and she was so kind, funny and helpful. If your looking for a Dental Practice that’s spotless, efficient, and caring go to Sitwell Dental. It’s a 10 in my book. EVERYONE in that practice is outstanding! My first visit in the Malta office was exceptional. I got cold and was going to run to my car to get my coat, but they said, don’t worry about it. They gave me a blanket that one of the office staff made during COVID. It was spotless, warm and beautifully made. I’ve been to their Clifton Park Office for a Root Canal, and again, EVERYONE was outstanding! The Dentist, Dr. John O’Brien, was incredible, gentle, and very likable! Obviously I can’t say enough good things about them.

Heather was super helpful setting up my first appointment and making sure everything went smoothly. Sheila, the hygienist, was great—personable and gentle during the cleaning. Overall, a fantastic first experience. I'd recommend Sitwell to anyone! Also, while I was waiting, another patient came in with an appointment at the Clifton Park office and they were really accommodating, getting her seen at the Malta office promptly. Very professional!

I went to the Malta location for a routine cleaning and was very impressed with the staff and office. I was seen in less than 5 minutes and my dental hygienist Delaney did a wonderful job at making me feel at ease. After the cleaning, Dr. John walked me through my X-Rays and identified two cavities during his examination. I was able to make a followup appointment less than two weeks out too! I was very happy with the entire experience: the promptness, cleanliness of the building, and courtesy of the entire staff were all top rate.
