Don't usually write reviews, but this one's deserved. It's rare to find a dentist in Los Angeles who truly cares and doesn't treat you like a transaction. Smile Design's team is professional, transparent, and focused on what's best for you. Dr. Robin is highly skilled and detail-oriented, but also genuinely kind and reassuring. You feel listened to, respected, and never pressured. Grateful to have found this practice for my cosmetic dentistry needs.

Highly recommend Dr. Robin Songhorian. Had two dental implants put in recently by him. He's highly experienced and made the whole process a lot more bearable. Great experience from start to finish here in LA.

Great office, Dr Matt did my root canal with no pain. Also reasonable prices. Maribel helped me with insurance coverage and all the staff is very nice. Glad I went to them—highly recommend for root canals in LA.

Thank you Dr. Songhorian for everything. I appreciate you helping me and my children all these years. I followed him since he began in Pasadena. Even though I live far, I'll always go to him. My kids felt comfortable, and he became my dentist, my husband's, and my mother's. Great front staff always gets me an appointment. This place scams you, they abruptly told me I needed teeth removed and implants after a minor hit to my tooth coming in to make sure it was okay and I believe that whole situation changed the trajectory of my perspective with this office and I hope to let people aware of their practice…after the way they handled me I went to get a second opinion (they charged me $150 for bonding on the tooth I hit that was a bit loose) the dr. That I went to for the second opinion removed the bonding in one second, scraping it once to examine…big red flag on being charged for that. I now go to Santa Monica perio referred to by my aunt…I had two new fillings to be done Dr. Haddawar, he did my fillings revealed to me that THERE WERE STILL CAVATIES WHERE THE FILLINGS WERE…AND THERE WERE FILLINGS ON TOP OF FILLINGS…basically meaning that whoever did my fillings did a terrible job…he was so confused and concerned on who did this job because it is un-dental like. Anyways it seems they either did this on purpose so they can bring me back to upcharge…or they’re just bad and rush their job. It’s upsetting you never know who you can trust.
Doctor Songhorian is hands down the most caring and positive dentist we've ever had in LA. He greets everyone with a genuine smile and makes even routine cleanings feel uplifting. The office staff are just as wonderful—friendly, helpful, always accommodating with scheduling and insurance. The vibe is welcoming and relaxed. Bonus: parking is a breeze on Pico Blvd, a rare treat in LA!

Love this place!! The staff and front office (Maribel and Tia) are amazing. Got all my work done here including my implants. If I could give 10 stars I would. From booking to the actual appointment they communicate clearly, assertively, yet very personable and polite. Had a wonderful experience at this dental office! The entire staff is super friendly, welcoming, and professional. I'm a scaredy cat with the dentist and they really made me feel comfortable and at ease during my visits for cleanings and exams. Been a patient of Smile Design for a few years now, and I keep coming back even though I live a ways away from the office in LA. The entire staff is friendly and welcoming from the moment you walk in. The dental assistants are truly wonderful—kind, attentive, and always make you feel at ease. The dentists are excellent. They take their time, explain everything clearly, and do great work with cleanings and fillings. Even though it's not a pediatric office, they've been incredibly accommodating with my kids.

Been coming to Smile Design Dental for years. Hands down the best experience. Everyone is always caring and nice. Doctor is always gentle and straight forward with you. Shows you the Xray’s and actually explains the Xray’s. The work is always looking good. My crowns look great and feel great! Never waited more than 10 mins and always got me in when I need to see them asap. Thank you for all the help and keeping my teeth look great!!

I’ve had such a great experience with Dr Songhorian and his whole staff. I had to get a tooth extracted, and I can honestly say I would only trust him and his team for not only doing a great job but also being kind throughout the whole process. Highly recommend!
The front desk secretary Maribel is super kind and helpful! Originally had an appointment late in the evening but she was able to get me in earlier and the whole appointment was a breeze! Dr. Robin and the staff here are very kind and helpful, not trying to pressure anyone into surgeries they don’t need. Very family oriented and relaxed atmosphere. Highly recommend this dentist and appreciate the open communication! Thank yall! :) (also don’t pay for street parking!! Dr. Songhorian is an excellent dentist. He is thorough, gentle and extremely knowledgeable. I feel very at ease in his chair. The front office is so friendly and helpful, and Carmen is incredible too. I've also had Dr. Hassan work on me and he is excellent as well! I highly recommend the entire office!

Been a patient for many years and you’ll be hard-pressed to find a better dentist office. The team staff is friendly and personable. Dr. Robin is marvelous - professional, kind, caring, and makes you feel very comfortable! I had my Invisalign done here and the whole treatment went smooth with no problems at all. I feel fortunate to have Dr. Robin as my dentist!

I am a student on a very limited budget without dental insurance. I was very lucky to find Smile Design Dental and I went for a routine cleaning appointment. This was my first dentist appointment after 1.5 years. From the moment I walked into the office, everyone was very welcoming. From the front desk, to the hygienist, to Dr. Robin himself, I felt like I was in good hands. They really took the time to do everything right; the hygienist cleaned my teeth very carefully, Dr. Robin spent a lot of time explaining my X-rays, the front desk staff and the person taking X-rays and doing the polishing were very patient and kind. To be honest, this was probably my most pleasant experience going to a dentist. The level of care, empathy and understanding from Dr. Robin’s team are exceptional. Thank you for everything you did. I truly appreciate each of you.
