My husband and I have been coming here for a few years now. The whole staff is super sweet. My husband is in a power wheelchair, and we've had a terrible time finding dentists in the past that would accommodate him. Here, that wasn't a problem at all. The dentist, hygienist, and receptionist all helped move the dental chair out of the way to make room for his chair and just made it happen. The dentist has a gentle hand and they're really good at what they do. He's amazing with kids, even the crying squirmy ones, lol. Just an all around great guy. Couldn't ask for a better dental clinic in Joshua, TX.

One of the best places I've been for dental care. Recently went in for two root canals on teeth that had been bothering me for years—they took great care of me. Only issue was not getting temporary crowns, so I have to be careful while waiting for insurance approval. Overall, the doctor is great, quick, and friendly, and so is the staff. Glad I found this place in Joshua, TX.

Hate to leave a negative review, but I feel it's necessary. Had an exam, x-rays, and cleaning after some tooth pain. I was the only one there, which seemed odd. The dentist did my cleaning, which took only 5-10 minutes—that was concerning. He said I had 6 cavities based on X-rays, but said I didn't have to get them filled. Not sure what to think. This was in Joshua, TX.

I expressed to the staff that I needed a cleaning. I went in hoping I would get a cleaning. All I got today were X-rays. When I did not commit to all the things the doctor wanted to do, I was told he left and I would have to reschedule. All I want is a cleaning. Is that so difficult to get done?
Reply: I came in for a cleaning. This was expressed when making the appointment. We even asked if we could get both examination and cleaning. We were told yes.

Dr. Uwadiae Uyigue is an Incredible Dentist!!! The staff is wonderful...they treated me with respect and kindness. I will happily refer my friends, family and anyone I love to them.
Very friendly and knowledgable staff. Works with my schedule to schedule exams with dentist. Dentist is kind and gentle and develops a plan of care, explains it so I can understand the whys and hows of treatment as well as cost. Listens to patients and does everything to ease anxiety and discomfort. I like the fact that he does all, including basic cleaning. Our entire family goes there.

Short Review: Having been a person who shops for a different dentist once a year for a routine cleaning I can say that Smile Express is the shining star and I am sticking around. Dr. Uwadiae Uyigue is the best, the prices are competitive, and the chairs are the most comfy.
Long Review: As I mentioned I used to shop around once a year for the cheapest teeth cleaning until I found Smile Express where I will be going from now. Dr. Uwadiae Uyigue is kind, patient, and caring and takes the time to explain anything going on (which to me is invaluable). As other have mentioned, all the equipment is top of the line and new.
Yesterday the right end of my permanent metal retainer came undone and I needed it glued back down sooner rather than later because it was causing pain and driving me nuts! I decided to call around a bit but everyone wanted to do a full exam with x-rays before fixing my retainer so I learned a valuable lesson about having a established dentist. I called Smile Express (whom I last visited about 6mo ago for a cleaning) and asked for a price. They kindly told me it would be $49 for the visit but could not quote the gluing procedure until the Dr. saw me. I admittedly got a bit frustrated at having to walk in and pay $49 and not know how much more but it seems to be the industry norm also, they were the only people who could see me the same day. The whole visit took about 30 min and included some cleaning behind the wire and gluing it back down. Dr Uyigue was, as always, very kind and explained everything. They ended up charging me $61 for the procedure which seemed a bit high to me but seemed competitively priced. My only other source of comparison was another dentist in Mansfield that charged my wife $50 for the visit and another $50 for the gluing but Dr. Uyigue and a same day visit is worth a little extra.
Definitely the best dentist office I have been to. Prices may be a bit high but are still competitive and the wonderful Dr Uyigue and staff are worth the extra buck. All the equipment is top of the line (the chairs are the best I know). To everyone at Smile Express Family Dentistry, thank you for your great care. Hope y'all have a good day.

Very pleasant experience. The staff is really nice and informative. The doctor did an outstanding job on my wisdom teeth removal. I would definitely recommend this dentistry.
The dentist is a super nice guy. He did a great job. He made sure I was totally pain free. The staff was great and I found a new place for my family to go. I love the new way to see x-rays. It is neat that I didn't have to put all those things in my mouth to gag me. Dentist was extremely patient with me and my anxiety.
My 7-year-old son broke his front tooth while playing. Got an emergency appointment with Dr. Uwa. He fixed it right up. Very pleasant doctor with good bedside manner and nice staff. Highly recommend for emergency treatment in Joshua, TX. - Tom

This is a wonderful place and the workers have been amazing. I normally don’t like any dentist for my kids and this one has been wonderful. I highly recommend them to anyone. They take their time to explain everything to you and not so rush rush like most. You can see the care they have for each individual patient.
