Honestly, Smile Magic is way better than any other dentist I've been to in Newport Beach. From the initial consult, they really took their time explaining all my options for cosmetic dentistry and dental implants. Everyone was super friendly and helpful, and I never felt rushed. They answered all my questions and helped me make a decision I felt good about. If you're looking for a dentist who actually listens, this is the place.

Dr. Nazir and his team at Smile Magic are amazing. As someone with past bad dental experiences, they made me feel comfortable and at home. Dr. Nazir was extremely patient explaining procedures and used 3-D x-rays to help me understand my options for dental implants. I now have a beautiful smile thanks to them! Scheduling was also super easy.

This was my first time at Smile Magic and I could not have been more pleased with the level of care and service! First and foremost, the office staff were so welcoming when I first walked in & the office felt very warm/inviting, something you usually don't get at a medical office. Dr. Oz was kind enough to squeeze me into his schedule because I would only be in town for a few days and I had not seen a dentist for almost 4 years! He greeted me in the waiting room and offered to hang by bag and sunglasses up while I made myself comfortable in the chair.
From the start, I could tell that he was going to be very thorough; he started with a full set of X-rays, followed by a cleaning (which he did himself), a head/neck cancer screening, and a head CT to see the exact position of my wisdom teeth.
Dr. Oz had a very gentle yet detail-oriented approach. He got 4 years of tartar/plaque build up off my teeth and they felt so clean after! Usually, the 2 things that deter me from coming to the dentist are 1) having to keep my mouth open for long periods of time (the people with TMJ will understand my pain) and 2) the sound & feeling of the tools scraping against my teeth when they get cleaned. Both of these things were taken care of by this one tool they had. Basically, imagine the old-school manual tool they use to take off plaque, but now make it ultrasonic. This MADE my experience. The cavitron made the cleaning go a lot faster, which meant that I didn't have to keep my mouth open for nearly as long AND the scraping sound/feeling was minimal at most! Of course, Dr. Oz went back over with his manual tool to make sure he got every last bit, which I appreciated!
After he was done with my cleaning, he went over my scans/X-rays & his game plan in detail. Overall, I felt like my experience was very personalized. I will definitely be making my regular visits to Dr. Oz at Smile Magic from now on!

No communication that the dentist doing my cleaning would delay my appointment by 30 minutes. I sat in the chair waiting all that time while he dealt with an emergency walk in. Somebody should have called me to delay my coming in or at least told me while I waited for “the emergency” which was a veneer replacement. Usually very satisfied with my care and the staff

My experience with Dr Nazir and his staff has so far been exemplary. When I first called Dr. Nazir on a Sunday, I actually got him on the phone and he was very kind and took time to help me. I have some very extreme dental problems and during my consultation with him, which by the way he got me in the very next day. Was very comprehensive and he spent over two hours with me. I really felt like he cared for me and I wasn’t just another patient to him. He takes the time to explain the options and procedures, as well as explain the science behind what he does. I am a physician, MD by training, so I know a little bit about anatomy and the importance of oral health to overall health. I really liked that he is an oral surgeon , and he did a great job with my three tooth extractions and explained to not rush things with my implants and bone grafting . His staff, Kendra in particular are amazing. Kendra has walked me through the cost of everything and broken it down for me. After meeting with him several times during this postop time, I have decided to move my dental care exclusively to him and his staff. I highly recommend him to anyone looking for a very skilled dentist but also someone who cares. I fully trust I am in good hands and I know he does good work. He’s a very kind man and he is always willing to talk and is very accessible. I thank he is one of the best in orange county and highly recommend him!

I’m new to this area and had a dental emergency. They were able to see me the following day. Dr. DiCaprio took great care of me. He was gentle and provided me with the various options for my situation. I’m very satisfied with the office environment and service.
