The hygienist remembered me from my November visit—he was A+ and did a great job with my cleaning. Only reason it's not 5 stars is before the cleaning they asked for a $75 deductible payment. My insurance says routine cleanings and X-rays are covered 100%. So that was a bit annoying.

Went in for a tooth extraction and Dr. Austin was wonderful—she made sure I was comfortable the whole time. The whole staff is nice and pleasant. If a dentist office normally gives you anxiety, I'd recommend giving Smith Dental Care in Savannah a try. They really care about making you feel at ease during oral surgery.

Eating out for our daughter's 25th birthday and suddenly my wife's front right tooth falls out. Thank goodness Smith Dental Care in Savannah was open Saturday afternoon. The doctors themselves were nice, but getting my medical records was a nightmare. I requested them in early January and it took two months, three in-person visits, at least five phone calls, and $50 for a digital copy before I finally got them. Something that should've been simple turned into a huge hassle. Really frustrating experience with this Savannah dentist office.

Great experience! The staff were polite and the front desk friendly. The X-ray technician was knowledgeable and kind, and the doctor was very professional—he checked all my X-rays and each tooth. Service was fast and efficient. Highly recommend this Savannah dentist for general dentistry.

I have been calling Smith Dental for the past three days, requesting my dental records and they have not responded. Signed my release letter and agreed to pay the $50 transfer fee (questionable charge IMO) but they can’t respond to my voicemails or email.

DO NOT COME HERE. THEY ARE SCAMMERS. I came a year ago because I wanted braces. Come to find out this dentistry place is nothing but a sham. I chose to go somewhere else. This office ended up billing me $200 out of retaliation and it’s obvious because my autopay date was at the end of the month and they charged me on the 7th which was a day after I told them I no longer needed their services. After almost a year I decided to return because I had no choice I had a dental issue. They let me come in. I came and they asked for my insurance and my other information. Something told me to not give it to them. After giving them my insurance, they told me they couldn’t help me because no doctor there could perform the procedure I needed. I left without getting seen by anybody. Fast forward a couple weeks and I SEE THAT SMITH DENTAL BILLED MY INSURANCE FOR $133 FOR NO REASON. THEY TOOK MY INSURANCE INFO AND DENIED ME CARE AND STILL BILLED MY INSURANCE THINKING I WOULD NOT NOTICE. NOW IVE CONTACTED A LAWYER BECAUSE IM TIRED OF THEIR GAMES.

I was having serious problems with a tooth that split during a time when most dentist offices are closed, out of desperation I looked for an office that was open over the weekend, I found Smith Dentistry, thanks to them I was able to make it through the weekend in comfort, the service was excellent, from the receptionist to the dentist. Yesterday I got a bill dated 2023 for an outstanding balance I don't owe. When I called billing, they said it's third-party and their new system says I owe. I've never left that office without paying what they said my insurance didn't cover. We stopped going because each visit they padded our bills. When I asked them to fix it, the woman got threatening and hung up on me. Very dishonest practice in Savannah.

Today was my first visit to the Smith Dental Care office. I am so happy with the results of my teeth cleaning! My teeth are white now! The stains and tartar were removed to my full satisfaction. The atmosphere is relaxing and the staff is kind. The Dentist is very knowledgeable and was patient when answering my questions. I found nothing deceitful about the insurance or payment information though I had concerns based on other reviews. I’m glad I gave them a try!
