They put her at ease, turned on a movie during X-rays and cleaning - first time she's done this without sedation. Couldn't be happier with their pediatric dental care in Staten Island, NY. I have been here a few times. Started with them for the first time . Service was good but for some reason it’s does not feel personable . The last time I was there, I felt rushed by my dental tech. No engagement at all. I felt like it was rushed and like a number .
And I did not even get a tooth brush but other people got 😳
Dr. Ronan is incredible - truly kind, caring and knowledgeable. The office is beautiful and spotless, and the staff made the whole experience great. Honestly couldn't ask for better pediatric dental care in Staten Island, NY. My kids actually look forward to their appointments now.

Had a great experience at this Staten Island dental office - everyone was so welcoming. Even when I got my appointment time mixed up, they still managed to fit me in. Loved the big TV on the ceiling! As someone who's been to over 10 dentists while moving around, this one really stands out. Dr. Lam explained everything clearly and professionally. It’s was very clean and comfortable there, didn’t smell too dentist-y. Staff, hygienist and dentist were all very nice. They had a silly hallmark movie playing while I got my cleaning, it helped put me at ease since I hadn’t been for a cleaning in a long time and was anxious. The hygienist did her best to keep me comfortable during the x rays. The dentist was very quick and efficient with my cleaning so any discomfort I had was over with quickly and she was informative on how to help certain things with my teeth. Also gave me an electric toothbrush for free! Definitely recommend for kids and anxious adults
I had a great first visit at the S.I.Dental Boutique, everyone there was professional friendly and kind! I had x-rays taken. A cleaning and a treatment plan for my dental issues rounded out my visit along with going over what my insurance covers and my out of pocket costs,no surprises except the free oral B electric toothbrush! so far the S.I. Dental Boutique has been GREAT!
I would’ve given them a 4, but today’s experience and my last one was weird. I took my child in thinking he had an abscess which luckily it wasn’t , however, there are no doors or curtains in the dental exam area and one of the receptionists was staring into my eyes for at least 15 seconds, twice. No privacy after two long odd weird stares made me very uncomfortable, especially while the dentist spoke to me about my child’s concern. It felt like she never saw a black person before or was just literally eavesdropping. Not sure if they (receptionists) both were whispering about us but when the other receptionist looked over at least she gave me a big smile instead of staring rudely. If they have curtains they need to pull them when patients are inside. Hippa laws do still exist.
My first visit wasn’t so bad but still every word that was said by the dentist was immediately corrected by the front desk due to eavesdropping.
It’s very clean, and the male dentist is very nice BUT, I’m Not sure if I’ll be going back.

Staten Island Dental Boutique, one of the few professional, passionate and excellent dentists on Staten Island. Their attitude is one to look forward to! They sent us a Starbucks gift card, and a hand written Thank You card for referring a family over. We referred 7 people over, so far and we will continue to refer. My wife and I, in addition to our infant, are treated with patience and excellence every time we visit.
Amazing experience. I recently switched to Staten Island dental boutique after my dentist of 20+ years closed. What an upgrade! State of the art facility with welcoming front desk and easy check in. There was a spa like vibe to the office which made me feel at ease. There was virtually no wait and I was able to get my fillings done right on the spot. They even gave me an electric toothbrush on the way out. Would highly recommend.
I had an appointment today 8/13/25 . at 11:30am. My experience was excellent. The front line staff are very nice and pleasant.The hygienist Victoria is very experienced and very kind and also pleasant. She did a great job on my cleaning and was very through. She gave me a mouthwash to ease the pain because my teeth are very sensitive. Then I met Dr. Ronan who I wish I would have known before I went to other dentist. She is also very kind, experienced and knows her stuff. She is Informative and knowledgeable. Gave me different options on what direction I should go with the work I want done. The office is welcoming and very clean. I have found my dentist!!. I recommend this office to anyone looking to find a great dentist. Thank u all for my wonderful experience.
