My wife needed emergency dental care for a badly infected tooth that was causing severe pain between visits. We called Dr. Hecht on a Sunday, and he actually came into his Staten Island office from New Jersey just to see her. Don't know any other dentist who'd do that. He helped her right away, changed her medication to fight the infection better, and followed up with multiple calls to check on her pain. Angie and Rosemary were key parts of the team too. Really impressive emergency service here in Staten Island.

I have been a patient of Dr. Hecht for many years and can’t recommend him highly enough!! He is kind, gentle, and extremely patient with me as I have a great fear of seeing the dentist. He takes the time to explain everything beforehand to ensure I am at ease and comfortable for what is happening. I will also commend his office team as they are amazing also. On many occasions, Angie has held my hand and having her there has made it a bit easier for me. His hygienist, Lauren, is kind and gentle and does an amazing job cleaning my teeth.

Dr. Hecht and his entire staff Angie, Rosemary Hygienist Ariel and Lauren are all so patient and thorough. They walk you through everything and I was nervous until now. I actually look forward to going which is so unlike me because I know i will get to see them and they treat you more than just a patient you feel heard and welcomed. I highly recommend.
Dr Hect makes the dentist a pleasure. I've been using him for several years now and the level of care is wonderful.
The receptionist is well versed in all that goes on there and is able to answer any of your concerns quickly. Making appointments and reminders make it easy to stay on top of things.
Dr. Hect is a personable guy and explains what he's doing the entire way.
I utilize their sedation services and I couldn't be happier and feel safer. It can be a little unsettling being induced to twilight but the Dr and his knowledgeable and empathetic staff make it a comfortable experience.

Dr. Hecht is an excellent dentist. He has many years of experience and he continues to take courses to make sure that he is educated with the most updated information to ensure that he is using the best techniques for his patients. He has a soft touch. He is known for helping patients who are afraid of the dentist overcome their fears in order to achieve their dental health. He is very available to his patients and even provides them with his cell phone number. I have been very impressed when Dr. Hecht himself calls me after a major dental procedure to check in on me during my recovery. Dr. Hecht not only provides excellent care for his patients in the area, but he travels to third world countries to provide free dental treatment for people who could never afford his services. Dr. Hecth's staff is truly incredible. They know their patients and make sure to address the needs of each of them. His office is state of the art. He has Televisions in the hygenists' rooms to make the experience even that much more pleasurable. i cannot think of a more qualified, caring and helpful professional than Dr. Hecth. He is an asset to dental world. You would really be lucky to have him caring for your dental needs.
