Honestly, this was the worst dental experience I've ever had in Staten Island, NY. The wait times were incredibly long—they had like five people scheduled at the same time, which felt super unorganized. Everything seemed unsanitary, which is a big deal for someone like me who's already nervous about dentists. They were really pushy about procedures too, which just made it worse. In my opinion, this office needs serious improvements in staff training and management. Getting any service done took way too long.

Just had a great visit at Staten Island Mall Dental, P.C. in Staten Island, NY. Saw Dr. Friedman for a crown redo, and she was awesome—took her time and made sure everything was perfect. Her nurse was really helpful too. Juliana at the front desk got me checked in right away. Couldn't be happier with the cosmetic dentistry service here, definitely giving them 5 stars!

The pain was from a gum infection, so the doctor prescribed antibiotics and pain meds. But then she said the tooth should be removed and recommended a dentist in Brooklyn, even though she doesn't do surgery here. When I asked why remove it if antibiotics would fix the infection, she had no answer—zero explanation. Felt really confused and unsatisfied with the oral surgery advice.

Took my daughter to this Staten Island, NY dentist over three weeks ago. They said she needs a root canal and had to send a referral for coverage approval. Called last week, and they were still waiting. My daughter's in pain, her gum is getting dark again. Called today and was told they sent the referral by mail—too early for a response. I called the coverage myself and found out they never got it; the office should've used the portal. In 2025, sending referrals by mail? Just changed dentists. Terrible experience with endodontic services.

Dentist was very rude telling my mother In law that she can’t get her teeth fixed that it will take more then 5 weeks to get her teeth back. Gave her an X-ray and gave her a referral which we did this 4 time before that and made the referral lapse

I’m extremely disappointed with the care and at the Staten Island Mall Dentist. My friend, who is pregnant, was told she had a cavity and needed immediate treatment. This turned out to be completely false after getting a second opinion. Exposing a pregnant woman to unnecessary dental procedures is not only unethical but potentially harmful to her baby.
Even more concerning, a similar situation happened with my son. We were told he needed a root canal—which is a serious procedure—but a different dentist confirmed that it was completely unnecessary.
This kind of misdiagnosis feels more like a push for profits than genuine patient care. Dental offices should prioritize trust, accuracy, and the well-being of their patients—especially children and expectant mothers. I will not be returning and cannot recommend this office to anyone.

The worst dental i ever seen. I came just for cleaning first time in this office. I had to visit just for cleaning 3 times. First they told me that I need some kind of authorization from my cardiologist (nobody ever ask me before). Second I came and they said doctor didn't come, have an emergency. Nobody call me to cancel. Finally I did cleaning, but they said that I need to go to some another dantist for a different cleaning. Such a BS
If i could give 0 stars i would. I had an appointment at 5:30 yesterday. Showed up 5:15 and door was locked! I called and no answer. Left a msg and no response. I called the office and asked what time they closed yesterday, the women said 5:30. So i was upset and explained how i showed up at 5:15 and the door was already locked. Suddenly she goes oh no yesterday we closed all day and rescheduled everyone. After expressing how upset i was as no one reached out to me, she simply said. Make a new appointment. NEVER ONCE APOLOGIZED for any possible disconnect or anything. DO NOT GO HERE.
This has got to be the worst dental place I have ever been to. The service was horrible they just take X-rays and the dentist wanted to remove a tooth that was not even bothering me, the cracked tooth was bypassed and she focused on another tooth. I was there for a cleaning that wasn't even performed because she wanted me to see a periodontist that has nothing to do with a cleaning. Then she walks out of the room without explaining anything to me. I would never go back to this place again. Stay away from hear. They did not do what my appointment was for.
I was assigned to this dental office by my insurance and I was nervous to go bc of the negative reviews. I went anyway because how can you screw up X-rays and a cleaning, right? Well the reviews are right. Don’t go to this office. I had gotten dental X-rays about 2 weeks ago for a pain I had and was advised by another dentist of a cavity that needed to be taken care of. This dentist did not see that cavity in her X-rays until after I advised her of it. The dentist and the hygienist do not even sit down while they are examining you / cleaning your teeth. I would not recommend this dental office to anyone.
The worst office I have ever been to. Over an hour and a half wait. It was my child's first dentist visit and the technician what is very rough when cleaning his mouth. The doctor came in said open your mouth now close your mouth okay see you in 6 months. The doctor did not do a complete exam. All the doctor said was limit the amount of candy and fruit snacks and give juice only with food. This was the worst office I've ever been to. The office manager was unprofessional and she was wearing sunglasses on her head. They overbooked appointments and the receptionist what is rude. She was texting on her phone for a couple of minutes before acknowledging that I was a new patient and giving me the paperwork to fill out. It was an overall that experience from the very beginning as soon as you walked into the office to the very end.
