I had 2 very recent visits. The first was for a routine check-up & teeth cleaning. That was an excellent, satisfying experience with a personable, efficient, knowledgeable hygienist, Monica, who actually made it enjoyable. A need for a dental crown replacement & one filling were found to be required. The next visit, Dr. Son did both procedures. I found him to be personable, considerate in his care, good at communicating during the procedures, and a very professional dentist, overall. I would highly recommend Dr. Son & his staff for your dental needs in Federal Way.

Honestly, this is the place! I’ve never reviewed a dentist in my life, but the people at Steel Lake Family Dentistry and Dr. Son are amazing. My x-rays and teeth cleaning in Federal Way were so easy and painless, and everyone was lovely and kind. My teeth feel so clean and I can’t wait to come back in 6 months. I had a great experience here. This was my first time seeing Dr. Son after he took over the practice from the previous dentist that I went to for years. I actually love the dentist and the assistants but the front desk lady is extremely rude and everytime I go in there I leave with a bad taste in my mouth. Today we arrived no welcome, no good afternoon, how can I help you, let me get you checked in...nothing but a blank stare. We went in for only cleanings but my husband needed a repair on a crown and we couldn't wait because he is having a major surgery in two days so bill comes to $70.40 and I was like I wasn't expecting to pay this today and she was like well we gave you the cost and I was like yeah today...and I was like can't you bi

Nothing but positive things to say about the team here, especially my hygienist and Dr Son. It had been a long time since I'd visited a dentist in Federal Way, but they helped establish a plan to get back on track and the difference was obvious and immediate how much better I felt. I have had 2 dental crowns done here, and when one of them had an issue, they were able to quickly get me in and get it fixed rapidly. I will definitely continue having my dental work done here. Best dental experience I've had.

Dr Steel has been an amazing dentist! Previously known as Dr Sheets Dental, I began going here in 2020 or so and this office has not only done an amazing job helping me care for my teeth but also help soothe any previous anxiety towards dental work due to past experiences in another office. The staff is so kind and friendly, it’s like you’re part of a family. Dr Steel is very gentle and knowledgeable, and although Dr Sheet has retired he did a wonderful job finding a dentist to fill in the spot to continue the wonderful work that they do. 12/10 recommend.
