I had a dental implant placed in Dec 2024 by the oral surgeon. I had a lot of pain and discomfort from day one. For months they told me everything looked fine. At my last appointment the surgeon said, 'this is normal, your body needs more time, and you're graduated'—discharged. Luckily I listened to my body and got a second opinion. The implant ultimately failed and had to be removed. Not sure if it was the surgeon or my body, but I couldn't go back.

My family and I have been patients since we were kids—my mom for almost 50 years. This dentist location has gone downhill tremendously and they have no consideration for customers. I had a flat tire and they said I had to figure out a way to get there, no exceptions, or pay over $100 cancellation fee. Did I flatten my own tire? No. They've made me cry over insurance confusion. Another time I got there and they gave me attitude because I confirmed via text instead of phone. Really disappointing.

Dr. Weiner and Dr. Pichini are both such wonderful dentists. I recently had Dr. Pichini replace a filling for me in Stony Brook. He knew I had a terrible experience before and was scared, so he made sure to be extra gentle and keep me comfortable. He's really kind, has such positive energy, and you can tell he's a dentist you can trust—both his personality and his knowledge. The dental assistant is super nice and caring, and she listens to all your concerns. The office staff is great too. After years coming here, I always feel safe.

Did an implant and crown over the course of about one year and spent around $10K. The crown got loose three month after it was put on and I feel pain when the tooth is used. Asked them if they can take a look for me and they told me I still need to pay which is ridiculous considering it’s completely their fault.
Update: went to see another oral surgeon and the x-ray shows the whole implant is loose and it has to be removed. So much time and money wasted!

I'm leaving this review after trying to get information about services—I never saw a dentist. I called to compare prices for a crown, even had the diagnostic code. As soon as I said I wanted a price, they hung up. Figured it was an accident, called back, and was told they don't give prices over the phone and I'd need a consult. When I asked if the consult was free, they hung up again. Very unprofessional.

If only I could give zero stars. This is a poorly managed office. The morning I was due in for my appointment, the office called me to tell they didn’t accept my insurance which is not the case but regardless the office had weeks to look into my insurance coverage but never did. They then said I would have to pay out of pocket or incur a cancellation fee. Sounds a little like extortion. Do not trust these people. They literally do not do their job and the manager refuses to get on the phone to solve issues. They are lazy, dishonest and unethical which is unfortunate because we like the dentists a lot. My entire family is now looking for another dentist.

Haley was my dental hygienist today. I always dread the cleaning process but Haley was super gentle and got me through the process pain free.
Dr Weiner did a comprehensive evaluation and full checkup on my teeth and gums and discussed next steps in my care.
Finally I met with office manager, Angelica who helped me through the business side of the practice with time and understanding and answered all my questions. Highly recommend this practice for all Dental concerns
