Had a great visit at Sullivan Dentistry in Union City today! From the front desk to the dental hygienist, everyone was fantastic. Even got to meet the dentist after my teeth cleaning. Honestly would give zero stars if I could. Every time I go to Sullivan Dentistry in Union City, they seem to poke holes in my teeth that need fixing next visit. Confronted them last time and they said it must've been a soft spot, but didn't mention any issue at the previous appointment. Super irritating paying for dental work that might not have been necessary. Staff is friendly, but that's about it. Looking for another dentist in Tennessee.

Went to Sullivan Dentistry in Union City today with a broken molar causing serious pain and sleep issues. Told them I was already taking amoxicillin, ibuprofen and Excedrin from my own supplies. They gave numbing shots that didn't help much, then prescribed the same meds I already had that weren't working. Left in the same condition I arrived. Update: They got me back later for two molar removals with their oral surgeon. Still, that initial visit for what should've been emergency dental care in Union City felt inadequate.

my husband had a chipped tooth. The tooth wasn't giving him any trouble at all but they wanted to cap it. he let them cap it. afterwards it started causing horrible pain. he called them and they wanted to send him to a specialist in Jackson that was going to cost him $500. we didn't have $500 to see a specialist. now the tooth is abscesses. He made an appointment to have the pocket in his gum drained that this abscess caused. they call him today, the day of the appointment telling him that the dentist said that tooth was decayed and would need to be pulled or a roots canal done and to pull it they were going to chrge us $120. But couldn't tell him why they even capped a tooth that was decayed that badly. He canceled the appointment and we are going to find another dentist. that tooth wasn't causing any issues at all until they capped it.

I went to Sullivan's Dentistry on September 14th because I felt my tooth crack and I needed them to repair it so I could get on with my life. They told me, there's nothing they could do for me and said I need to get a root canal and keep taking the antibiotics that I'd already been taking for the infection since I have had a hip replacement and I don't want to lose my leg because of bacteria living in my mouth from not getting the good dental care from these so called dentists that think I'm there trying to get some hydros, I told 3 different ppl the same story as to what was going on with me and the girl said, we don't give out pain meds smh I never asked for pills, I went to get my tooth fixed, i have excellent health and dental insurance. There's no excuse
They have always take care of my needs, and got me out of the office as fast as possible. On my last visit they didn't mention about an infection I had but I heard in their conversation and checked it out when I got out of the dentist office. Other than that they're pretty good.
I called Sullivan Dentistry on a Friday morning with an emergency and they got my bf in within an hour. The dentist was extremely thorough and the ladies at the front were wonderful. Very welcoming office :)
I have been paying for some dental work for my grandson when he was in a lot of pain. I work in Union City on Monday, Wednesday and Thursday. I got a receipt and statement in the mail last week and since they are open until 5 pm on Monday I thought I would run over there after work( about 4:40) and have them explain it to me since I couldn’t understand their figures. Got there and they had closed early. I was not happy. This is not good business! I wanted to do this in person and not over the phone.

I had an emergency, I had a tooth absolutely driving me insane with pain. All I wanted was for that tooth out of my head! I called Sullivan's and they got me right in. As soon as I had my paperwork filled out they took me back, did a quick xray. Determined it needed extracting , and let me tell you. Was the Greatest experience (if there is such a thing at a dentist office?) I have ever experienced . I felt no pain what so ever. That was yesterday and this morning No pain at all. I never felt any pain during the whole process. I highly recommend this friendly professional staff!
Dental work was okay but they could not get there costs taken care of. Paid them $900 after getting my teeth worked on (This was after insurance). Then I'm notified by collections a year of so later stating that I owe them an additional $120?!?! I was never notified of this and they went straight to collections. The front desk wasn't too nice about it either once I confronted her with the issue. I refuse to give them anything higher than 1 star until they get this fixed. This was caused by either ignorance or corruption. Either way I'm not down with it.
So disappointed. The first visit I had with them went really well and I was impressed especially since I have had some bad experiences with dentists before. I had my second visit with them today to have a tooth pulled and I felt like that I was a piece of meat being thrown across the meat counter. They were not busy but they rushed through everything. They numb me up and after about 5 mins they pulled the tooth. Pulling the tooth didn’t hurt but after about 15-20 mins after they pulled the tooth the numbness starting wearing off. Called to see if they could give me something for the pain since the numbness had already worn off and the assistant told me to take Tylenol and ibuprofen and wouldn’t talk to the dr about my pain and the numbness going away so quickly. So displeased with them and will never go back. I started going to them since I moved to Union City and they were closer than my previous dentist. Will never go back to them and will gladly drive the 2 hours to go back to my previous dentist in Memphis. Would not recommend.
I started with Sullivan Dentistry last year when looking for someone to take my insurance and make good dentures.
As we started, we ran into a problem right off. I had a wisdom tooth that was trying to come in. I thought for years that they were all pulled as I had worn dentures for the last 10 years. So I started on my journey for an oral surgeon to get it out which I did find in Jackson. Mrs. Betty kept working with me as my mouth would allow.
They did get me fitted and I had never had the care or precise fitting that they gave. Mrs. Betty also addressed a problem that I had with other dentures with not filling my mouth out. She allowed room and measurements to take care of this.
It was a wonderful experience with Dr. Sullivan and Mrs. Betty and the entire staff. I would highly recommend this dentistry for any need you have." Happy Smiling"😀
