I have been going to Summit Dental North since I moved to Fort Wayne in 2017, I am always overly pleased with my routine cleanings. I drive 25min out of my way to see Nicole, the best hygienist, hands down. Imagine two girls yapping & giggling through the entire appointment, she takes any anxiety or nervousness away immediately. Very personable and easy to talk to! I appreciate that at the end of each appt the doctor that gives a final check is different from time to time! A few different sets of eyes on your teeth and oral health each time can never be a bad thing. I’ve never been to a dental office that takes care of me like they do. 🫶🏼

This was my first time at Summit Dental Group ….I felt welcome when I went through the doors to check in. The staff was very friendly and Dr. Presser was super. This place is awesome to get your teeth clean.

From the minute I walked in the door until the minute I walked out the door was the best experience I have had in a dental office in decades! The entire staff is friendly, kind, professional, compassionate and really listens to their patients! They go above and beyond to make sure you are comfortable and understand every thing they are doing!

When I visit Summit Dental North office I am always greeted in a very friendly and efficient manner by the staff and Doctors. On Jan 9th during a routine exam I experienced a blood glucose low. Jackie and Dr Miller took extra care of me and made sure I was OK and able to drive home.

I was referred to Dr O’Hara by Dr Regan. We went to a room and his assistant started asking us questions. I was given a questionnaire to fill out by never got a chance to finish it. She asked questions about why we were there and about tooth numbers. I didn’t remember any tooth numbers. But she started telling us that she couldn’t understand how they were going to fix a cavity that was under the crown, without taking the crown off that was currently there. (She had written in her paperwork that we were getting 2 crowns and it was actually just the one crown.) So I told her that didn’t sound like the conversation that Dr Regan and I had. So she went back and checked again. She had the wrong tooth and then pulled up the correct tooth. Then we talked about billing. They had given me an estimate of 2,100 after my insurance paid and that was with two crowns. So I asked her to take out one of the crowns and she kept coming up with a price that was higher than the 2,100. She tried about three times. Then I offered to go get my paperwork that they had give me from Dr Regan’s office. She told me to take a deep breath and to calm down and we would get this worked out. So she went back over and came up with 1,900 amount. So I looked over everything and it still was not coming out even close to what I had been quoted. It was 2100.00 minus 544.00 and minus 247.00. Which came to 547.89. Give or take some because of their sedation went up 2.00 per 15 min. But they kept coming up with 1,900.00. So I just asked that someone look it over and see where something was off. Then Dr O’Hara came in. He immediately asked questions about when they told me that I had a cavity in that tooth. He asked if it was 2024? I replied twice that I had just gone to my dentist in November for a teeth cleaning and they found it. But they said insurance would not cover it because it had not been 5 years. Which brought me to Dr Regan/Dr O’Hara so they could do the procedure of a new crown since the procedure was done incorrectly. Dr O’Hara told me that it was MY FAULT the the crown needed replacing because I did not take care of my tooth. Right away my husband stepped in a responded, it was not my wife’s fault that the crown was not fitted correctly when the procedure was done. That is not my wife’s fault. We could not believe he had blamed me. So after everything we went through with the assistant and now the dentist questioning when I was notified of the cavity and it being my fault, we were not very happy. After him telling us that he then told me that I was being combative??? We just thought they would have looked over the file and talked to the referring dentist and been prepared for the patient. Then to be blamed for a tooth procedure that was not done correctly?? How unprofessional. The next day they had their receptionist call me and tell me that I would have to find someone else to do the procedure because they felt that we weren’t happy with them and that I was upset about the charges . Well I just wanted someone to look over the numbers that were provided to us. There is a big difference between 547.89 and 1,900. Something wasn’t correct. Was I in the wrong for questioning this? Is it not unprofessional to tell a client that a procedure done wrong was there fault? I just did not have the best experience here. Dr Regan has always been wonderful to us but I could not get a return phone call from him to discuss what had happened.

I have been searching for a new dentist office for a bit and when I called- they were able to get my 4 year old son and myself in the next day which was a huge plus!!
Everyone at the office was super friendly and welcoming. We both had great experiences with our hygienist’s and dentists. I thought it was super cool that they give welcome gifts for first time patients. This was a 10/10 experience for us! 🙌🏻

Like others, I am not a fan of the dentist BUT, my experience at Summit dental was the best I have ever had! Nicole was my hygienist and she was patient, kind, thorough and informative. The check out person ( i didn't catch her name) was amazing as well! Highly recommend Summit dental on Lima x-ing!!

A very clean clinic with compassionate staff. I called in the other day because I was experiencing some concerning swelling and dental pain. They were able to get me in the same day. The people were welcoming and friendly. If there was an out of pocket expense that insurance won’t cover during my cleaning, they advised me of that on the spot. I appreciate that. I’m glad I signed up for services at this location.

Everyone is very nice there. Also it is very helpful to go to a dental office where they fully understand that some people have a fear of dental procedures. And the gentleness is awesome. I see Dr. McCarthy when I go in. He is really nice and asks about my teeth while I am talking about movies.

Heather truly made my first experience with summit remarkable. I was really anxious coming here due to previous bad experiences with dental offices, but she was super kind and sweet and explained things very well. I walked out with a better knowledge of how to take care of my health. She even took time to help me make sure I was flossing correctly as I was not taught growing up. Before going here, because of a bad experience at a different dentist office, I had not been to the dentist in 6 years and I wasn't sure before going in if I would continue going because I felt very anxious. My dental hygienest was Hilary and she was so compassionate and patient with me and she explained everything she did in detail, which made me feel so much less scared and made it a much more positive experience. Not to sound dramatic but that first appointment was a little bit life changing in a way, because I now feel comfortable to recieve continuing dental care and that wasn't something I saw happening for myself. I did have 2 cavities and by the end of the appointment, I felt comfortable enough to schedule my appointment for them, which I never would have thought I would've been able to do if you'd asked me before. They got me in very quickly to fix them and the dentist (Dr. O'Hara) and dental hygienest (I believe her name was Hannah but I'm not sure) were both so nice. I actually felt really anxious, like lightheaded I might faint, but they were very calm and explained everything which made me feel better. I would definitely recommend this dentist office! Everyone there is so kind and knowledgeable! I asked several questions in my appointments and they were happy to answer, it seemed like everyone I met is so passionate about their jobs. The ladies at the front desk were very nice too.

I have never had a bad experience with this dental practice. I always get kind, friendly staff members.
The one negative thing I would say is that I never know who I will get. Their staff seems to change a lot so I can’t remember the last time I saw the same hygienist and/or the same dentist. I have no complaints about anyone, but there has been very little consistency.

My family has been going to Summit since I can remember and every appointment never fails to make us smile. We LOVE going to the dentist to see our hygienists, the dentists, and front desk staff. Our 14 month old was seen yesterday for her very first dental appointment and enjoyed every minute! Her hygienist was so patient and excited for her every step of the way.
