This was hands down the best dentist office experience I’ve had to date! The staff was so nice, the assistants so thorough and kind and the doctor was the best! I came in trying to find solutions to save a tooth from a root canal. I had an inlay that failed, and the two previous dentists I had, let me know a root canal or an implant were my only options (with only a x ray to come to this diagnosis). So I called Sunnyvale dental group holistic dentistry for a final opinion. After nerve testing and other procedures to test the health of my nerve, imaging and other procedures, my nerve was found to be healthy, and they saved my tooth with a new inlay. So grateful!

Have been getting my care from Lynn and Dr. Gallagher (deceased), Dr. Kris and Now Dr. Moussa for more than 20 years and. Lynn and the rest of the staff offer compassionate and professional care second to none. Office is modern, clean, cheerful and comfortable with plenty of parking and easy access from highway 85. Pricing is fair and accepting my insurance no problem.

Dr Mousa went out of her way to call the company who make the Silent Night mandibular advancement device for sleep apnea, that does not provide an option to advance my chin far enough to have any effect on reducing my sleep apnea, as measured by disappointing sleep study results. She pushed them to do more, and they agreed to special-engineer something that will be custom for me. Because it is within warranty, there will be no charge. Whether or not it ends up helping enough to prevent the need for CPAP, Dr Mousa's advocacy on my behalf was very much appreciated!!! Everybody in this dental office is kind and helpful. I am most grateful they exist, and highly recommend them all.
This place is amazing. The moment I entered, the receptionist sat down next to me, explained the cost and dental procedure. I signed the agreement. The fillings were almost painless! The moisturizer for my lips was a pleasure. It was like a KISS! SDG is worth your time and money.
First time I've written a negative review - that should speak to my experience with their staff regarding billing issue. My family was billed out of pocket hundreds of dollars after telling my wife they accepted our dental insurance - Delta Dental. They did not apologize for the mistake on their end. Zero accountability for miscommunication and billing hundreds of dollars out of pocket.
I received the most gentle, caring, stress free care I have ever received at a dental office, and I’ve spent 47 years going to dentists. Everyone who works there is so kind and helpful as well as skilled and knowledgeable. I love that they focus on providing their patients with the healthiest options in dentistry. Additionally, I am so grateful to have found them because they have been amazing with my grandson, and he loves going to see them despite the fact that he unfortunately had cavities from his previous lack of dental care. Each visit he’s had with them has left him feeling happy.

Very pleased with this office in Sunnyvale. Clean, inviting and comfortable. Staff for me is what I’d call a breath of fresh air from most of the previous offices we’ve been too. They were very attentive, informative and knowledgeable about the holistic approach with dentistry. I felt a sense of sincerity in their answers when we would ask questions as if they weren’t in it for money and were really only concerned about our oral health. It was a feeling of “we can move forward at your pace when you are comfortable and ready” rather than feeling “Please pay this ridiculous amount now because this needs to be done.”

Lynn and Dr. Hilado have always been great, and my recent visit for a cleaning shows they’re doing their best during the pandemic. Things are not perfect, if you’re the nervous type don’t see any dentist. But if you really need to go, they’re as safe as you’ll find.
Addendum: another visit, this time for two partial crowns. Excellent care as always, I’m very happy I found this office. Highly recommended!

I have been afraid of the dentist since I was a child. I was afraid when I first started at Sunnyvale Dental but my fear went away after early visits. I now do not hesitate to go in for my appointments. The staff is wonderful. Lynn and Hilda are wonderful hygienists. Sorry to learn that Dr. Kris is leaving. She was a caring and compassionate dentist. I expect the same from Dr. Mousa who I will be meeting soon.
They really take care of you! From my first phone call to every single staff 🙌🏾 Highly recommend them for transparency in price and for putting your natural health first. Dr. Was super genuine and thorough! They listen to your concerns and give their advice. They also are not pushy and I love that they their prices are affordable 😭 you don’t find many if any top quality dental practices in the Bay Area that don’t make you feel like they are only serving the 1%.
I came in for my regular cleaning, this time with Hilda. She did a great job, explained things really well, pointed out likely future needs, and was very, very personable and friendly. This was my first visit with her, and she came in fully briefed on my chart and records, even having my previous x-ray up on the screen. Very professional, and very warm and personable - all in all, a great experience.
The staff is very professional and really listened to me when I had questions and requests. All the way through I felt that my concerns were addressed to the best of their ability and my understanding. Although dental visits are a source of anxiety for me, they did their best to keep me calm and comfortable with a minimum of sedation. They keep true to the holistic dental approach and were happy to refer me to an oral surgeon when what I wanted was outside their scope. Everyone there is extremely genuine and I am really happy with my experience there!
My 1st experience was very good. Receptionist quite busy yet handling everything remarkably well from start to finish to follow up. Dr. Kris communicated well to me in every way-professionally and in regards to when she would perform some action. There were no surprises.
The dental assistant was very unobtrusive inside my mouth-the best I’ve ever had.

All four of our kids (ages 8-13) love having their teeth cleaned by Lynn. She is very knowledgeable, gentle and through.
Dr Kris does outstanding work and uses proven materials that won't damage your health! She recently replaced my last two amalgams with porcelain. They match so well that you can no longer tell I have fillings in my teeth and I had absolutely no negative health repercussions during or after the removal (despite being sensitive).
