Something is off with this place. First visit was great for an emergency root canal I paid for myself. But then I was quoted $6k for cosmetic work, and after months of appointments and payments, the doctor refused to do it, saying it would cost $43k for crowns instead. Felt like a long con. He got hostile when I asked for explanations. Be careful.

Really good laser treatment ! Went once and it worked really well came back a few days later . Great doctors so nice and it was really simple and easy and was a quick appointment. Will be back. Dr Makadia was really helpful at explaining everything which I loved.

I have been going here for a couple of years now. They do not take my current insurance. However, I choose to take my business to them for a few reasons. One, Dr Makadia has always communicated what was happening and options. I choose my care every step of the way. I have been to many dentists over the years, yet not one has treated me with the respect to consult me about my dental care. It unfortunately is a rarity to find care like this. Sunrise Dental in Bohemia, has made going to the Dentist a less intimidating experience. Secondly, they have pointed me in the direction of other finical options that have allowed me to get the work done. I highly recommend considering having your Dental work performed here. Take it from someone like me, I have horror stories of previous dentists. Dr. Makadia cares and does everything in his power to comfortably get the work done and as painless as possible. I have had teeth pulled and root canals, all done with care!

We moved into the area and needed to find a new dentist. I generally hate going to the dentist, but Dr. Makadia and his staff are very welcoming, efficient, and professional. I always feel safe and well cared for! The newest technology, and lasers make visits to the dentist far less traumatic than when I was a kid back in the 80’s. The staff is kind and friendly. I could go to my old dentist who was in network, but it is well worth it for me to stay with Dr Makadia. I especially like that I can get appointments quickly when I’m in pain.

I’ve never had a good dental experience in the past. However sunrise dental changed my perspective on the entire profession! Everything was top notch. The receptionists were kind and courteous, the lady who cleaned my teeth did a great job and was very gentle! The atmosphere is calm and welcoming. Overall it was a great experience and I have found comfort in having my yearly check up done! I look forward to seeing the continued progress of my smile!
