Honestly, I don't love going to the dentist, but Team Leatherman Care Dentistry makes it so much better! If I could give a million stars I would. Everyone from the front desk to the back is super friendly and helpful. I had to get 3 crowns this year, and I was really anxious, but they're so good at what they do that it helped calm me down. My first visit today and I'm impressed so far, from time I walked in to when I left. I've struggled in last year to find a dental practice that I've felt good with since my last dentist retired. The level of compassion, empathy, and warm smiles from this office and staff was great! To all staff and Dr introducing themselves just through me getting X-rays so they can treat me was amazing! I have future appointment to fix my tooth issue and I can say I'm not anxious on going back. Thank you all at this office today for making my experience great! I hope this is future going forward dental office! So far I would say it is!

Dr. Candice - a truly exceptional Dentist!
I recently visited Dr. Candice after a past traumatic dental experience many years ago which has always made me very nervous to visit the dentist, and I can honestly say it was a pleasant surprise. From the moment I walked into her office, I felt welcomed and at ease. Everyone I encountered was super friendly, helpful and great at their job. Dr. Candice’s friendly personality, impressive knowledge, and skills put all my fears to rest.
During my initial appointment, I was amazed by the thoroughness of the examination. They took many X-rays and individual pictures of each tooth with a small “wand”, which I had never experienced before. They explained they captured in picture each tooth the way it looked so that if something were to happen, they would know exactly how it looked before. I could see each picture of each tooth they displayed on a screen above. This attention to detail truly blew me away compared to my previous dental visits. Dr. Candice also thoroughly explained to me what work I needed to have done after carefully examining all of my teeth.
I went to Dr. Candice’s office based on reviews. After getting a crown and having a cavity filled, I can confidently say that Dr. Candice is one of the best dentists not only in Lorain but potentially all of Ohio. The office is equipped with the latest technology, making the entire process fast and efficient. My crown was completed in just a few hours, and I didn’t have to return for any follow-up appointments for that crown. Remarkably, it feels more natural than my existing tooth! The crown has soft edges without any deep crevices, which is such a relief compared to my natural tooth. Dr. Candice does this by the way. She knows how to file it down and fit it perfectly for your mouth. I think this is a skill because if you ever had something not filed down properly in your mouth, you know how much it can bother you. This crown is literally perfect and feels better than the natural tooth I had before! It is truly amazing!
The pain was minimal on the first day, and I only experienced slight soreness the next day. Dr. Candice even followed up with me to check on my recovery, which I greatly appreciated. I have another crown appointment coming up, and for the first time, I actually look forward to it knowing I’m in the best hands. If you have any fear, keeping reading the reviews on here…it’s what made me call her office and I’m sure glad I did. She made a lifetime patient with me for sure! Her office is consistently rated 5 stars for a reason! Every interaction I had, from phone calls to in-person visits, was a 10/10 experience. I highly recommend her to anyone seeking a compassionate, knowledgeable, thorough, and highly skilled dentist!

Couldn't ask for a better dental experience. Dr Leatherman is personable, and very knowledgeable. The crowns are made on premise, so you don't have to make numerous visits to repair a tooth. His entire office staff is so welcoming, and fun. I had 10 top teeth completely redone. My smile is remarkably improved, and with my insurance, the cost was manageable. Highly recommended.
I have to say I really enjoy this office. They have been absolutely wonderful with scheduling, working with me on my financial needs, and all around wonderful with my daughter, who hates going to the dentist. They are so kind, caring, and thoughtful. I enjoy the entire staff here! Highly recommend!!
