Bring our grandkids 115 miles to this office. The kids love it and I'm happy because of the bad childhood experience I had by a dentist back home . If you make going to the dentist a pleasant time kids will continue to through their adult life going and taking care of their teeth.
We just moved from Kentucky to West Virginia and needed a dentist for the kids. Been to Teays Valley Pediatric Dentistry twice now and both times were amazing. Staff is super friendly, answered all our questions, and the place is spotless. They have tons of activities to help ease anxiety—my kids felt right at home. Overall, this office in Hurricane is beyond amazing for pediatric dentistry.

One star because the filling is still there but dealing with billing from this bunch is a joke! Called multiple times to my insurance and the office itself to clarify how the payment process would work for my child’s appointment. Was told every time that I would pay the full amount at the appointment (close to $1000) then get reimbursed by my insurance. Had the appointment, paid what I was told to be the full amount, and received the reimbursement check from the insurance. Fast forward 2 months later, get a bill for $168 for a balance. Haven’t used this office since the original appointment. Called for an explanation which is the complete opposite of a process than I was told prior to and after the appointment multiple times. Told it must have been an accident at checkout, even though I called to quadruple check that everything is paid that same day after the appointment. I’m sorry, but if someone makes an error you shouldn’t blame and bill your clients for your mistake.
My daughter done awesome at the dentist yesterday, but this place made it easy. They explained every tool to her & let her make choices like which side to start on, & different flavors to pick from. If you're looking for a pediatric dentist, I was really impressed with them. so glad we chose to go there. 🦷🪥

They always take the best care of us, and were super nice to my daughter!! After speaking with Cassie, she was able to get us fit in and the dentist in the office today was awesome and took care of the issue with my daughters tooth...also he had a student assistant ( male) and a (female) student that was shadowing and they both treated her kindly and talked and interacted with my daughter!! She was already having mouth pain from being at the orthodontist first!!! So I greatly appreciate them All!!

This pediatric dentist office is amazing! The staff is kind, patient, and skilled at working with my daughters who have autism, including one who is nonverbal. They actually look forward to coming here to play and feel comfortable. We especially love Kara! She’s incredibly patient, caring, and informative. She always takes the time to introduce the dental instruments slowly so my daughter doesn’t feel overwhelmed and stays relaxed. She always makes sure my girls feel safe and understood. Truly one of the best! We’re so thankful for the care we receive here

My 2-year-old had such a great first experience here. As a WVU employee, this is the only pediatric dentist in our network, but I'm so grateful it worked out this way. The dental assistant and Dr. Bailey were so patient with her, and she had a blast in the waiting area. Great pediatric dentistry in Hurricane!

Our family is absolutely in love with this office. My son has a lot of anxiety and Kara was the absolute BEST at explaining every detail to him while making it fun and he did amazing! The entire staff is great! Super friendly, clean and so so great at what they do! The office itself is such a fun place to be, they have so many unique games and characters there, the kids can’t wait to go to the dentist each time!! Highly recommend Teays Valley Pediatric Dentistry. Greeted with smiling faces as soon as we walked in. Great atmosphere with a fun, clean play area—my boys loved it. They explained everything about their teeth and what needed to be done. Amazing with the kids too. We were in and out with two kids in under an hour. All around great experience! Update: my son had a dental procedure here recently and still impressed.

I was very worried about their first time at the dentist, but this doctors office made it a breeze! The waiting room is extremely kid and fun friendly, this includes a small slide perfect for the kiddos, a kids tv, and a room with multiple wall toys and a huge tablet like game in the center of the room!! The entire doctors office is decorated for safari animal loving kids!! The staff here were super friendly, kind, and definitely understanding with small children, especially with this being both of our children’s first time at the dentist. We loved everyone we encountered at the office, from the receptionist to the dentist. I also loved the fact that they have rewards for your children once they are done, have positive energy towards the children at all times, and are so welcoming!! They also were very comfortable and understanding with children being children, as in them throwing a fit when getting their teeth counted or not wanting to cooperate throughout the process, this definitely made me more comfortable, and the process so much easier!

We have been going to Teays Valley Pediatric Dentistry for years now, and they are truly the best. The office (aesthetically) is a dream. They will see all 4 of my kids at once, but give them the individual attention they need. The hygienists are absolute angels! They have all been so kind and friendly to my kids, explaining everything to them. Kara, especially, was fantastic to work with. Her kindness towards my daughter made my daughter feel so special. I really love this place!

Absolutely amazing! I'd give them 100 stars if I could. They were great with my kids ages 5 and 3—usually a tough age, but they weren't scared at all. Staff is wonderful. Highly recommend to anyone looking for children's dentistry in Hurricane.
