Finding a new dentist for my 11-year-old made me nervous, but Tender Touch surprised me. Everyone had smiles and seemed happy to help. The dentist was professional and thorough – he actually cleaned her teeth himself! He explained everything about her oral health without me even asking. Honestly, terrible place. First time I went, the hygienist aggressively picked the back of my teeth and purposely broke off my permanent retainer that was glued on and fine. She claimed it was already broken, but I felt her rip it off. The cleaning was rushed in under 10 minutes. No other office took my insurance, so I let it go, but as someone autistic, it was traumatizing. I didn't even know what to say.

Y'all, I'd avoid taking your kids to Tinder Touch in Calhoun, GA if you can. Worst dentist experience ever, and my kids didn't even get seen! I made appointments over 2 months ago. When we got there, they needed a clearance form for my son (he's special needs) – I'd have gotten it if they'd told me months ago, not that day. Then my daughter couldn't be seen because apparently her previous dentist billed for work they didn't do. I asked to reschedule but... just a mess.

My grandson was seen in the Calhoun office today and the dental assistant was extremely rough and rude to him and my daughter in law. He’s only 4 years old and was so excited to go to the dentist. He left saying he hates the dentist. I tried calling to speak to the office manager 40 minutes before they closed and no one ever answered the phones.
Zero stars if I could. Never dealt with front office staff like this. After waiting months for my daughter's appointments, they called the day before and removed one, claiming an insurance issue and that she'd been seen elsewhere in October. That's false – this is the only dentist we use due to insurance. When I told them, the reply was 'not my problem, take it up with...' Unbelievable.

Nice man, but inadequate. Hurt my daughter during a filling so badly she didn’t want to return. Told us she had 15 cavities. Went to get a second opinion from a dentist with nothing but 5* reviews. NO cavities! We also had been going to another dentist twice a year since she was three with no cavities. To hear she had 15 was very confusing and we definitely knew we were being taken for fools. I’d think twice before going to this dentist.
I called their office today due to my son falling and busting his mouth and now has a loose front tooth. I was put on hold for 10 mins. I told the lady what happened and that a non pediatric dentist had referred me to them for an emergency. And all I could get out of her was “ Well we are booked out until march!” So rude and unprofessional. Will definitely not consider them to care for my children!
Not very happy with this office any more. They refuse to put both of my daughter’s insurance info in chart so I’ve had to pay them over $500 out of pocket so far. I’ve never had to pay anything out of pocket. Also, my daughter has complained about the dentist not waiting til her mouth is. Umm before starting dental work. And he apparently has been very rough while working on her mouth. May be time to find a new dentist.
Tender Touch is a great dentistry! Dr. Rotowa is the kindest most genuine dentist you will ever meet! His whole staff is so friendly and welcoming! They all do their very best to make sure you are getting the best care possible! You will not be disappointed!!
We waited over a week for an initial appointment, then after the consult, another 2 months for a tooth extraction. They won't answer phones – say voicemail is best – but don't return calls. Cancelled an appointment the day of after we waited so long. Better communication and scheduling would help a lot. Maybe don't take new patients if you can't handle current ones.

So glad this is where I took my 4 year old who was absolutely terrified of going to the dentist! They was all so nice and talked to her and made her feel so much better and she actually let them clean her teeth with no problem! The cartoons playing in the room was also great for when they was actually cleaning her teeth. They are great with kids I have no complaints at all!
Very very rude customer service lady. I’ve been to this dentist for 3 years. Will not be back. Do not recommend them whatsoever. Was talked to so disrespectful I work in customer service & I have never seen this in my life. Someone needs to talk to the lady & tell her how to do her job because she does not know what she’s doing. We do not except being rude to our guest. Telling everyone about my experience here. DO NOT RECOMMEND.
Read the reviews before coming here. There is several reviews stating how rude the staff is. I’ve never even wrote a review but i was treated that badly that I felt the need too. Place is not professional and don’t care about patient retainment. I have used them for over 10 years and they have been the only dentist my daughter knows, she is now 9. My experience goes as follows that made me make the ultimate choice to choose elsewhere for service.
I am planning on having cosmetic surgery, I called during the beginning of the year to schedule for X-rays, I scheduled for May, however with so much going on I did miss my appointment, HOWEVER no one called me or emailed as a reminder. Then the lady said there will be a $25 dollar fee because of a missed appointment because I was not notified!
I can't recommend Tender Touch highly enough! They are hands down the best I've ever experienced. They are obviously known for being great with children, but they are amazing for adults too! The staff is always so kind and caring, and I've never had to wait long. Dr. Rotawa is wonderful. He is so gentle and kind, always checking on how you are feeling. I can honestly say my fillings were completely painless and stress-free. The hygienist, Bethany, is great too! She is so friendly and sweet. She explains everything she is doing. Just go here. You'll be so glad you did!
We had a bad experience with a different dental office prior to coming here, and it was like a breath of fresh air. Everyone from the receptionist to the dentist was polite and happy. The hygienists were so great with my daughter and they made sure to thoroughly address all my concerns. They were honest about everything as well. I am definitely bringing my kids back here!
