I have consistently found it challenging to get my 8-year-old daughter with level 3 nonverbal autism to tolerate dental appointments, including simple cleanings. My daughter had some dental work done. And all I have is WONDERFUL reviews! First off Dr. Hussein was amaaazing from explaining in complete detail the process of the procedure and how my child would behave during this process and he kept not only making sure that myself andy husband were okay with how the procedure was going as he was performing it but the follow up afterwards was truly comforting. His sedation team! Love them! They were highly amused with my kid and her sedated self lol. But they were very attentive and helpful and they all just did an amazing job with making the three of us

Yesterday was my daughter’s first visit there, and it was great! They made her feel so comfortable and explained everything so she was also able to understand. She needed to have some baby teeth pulled and through the whole thing they made sure she was comfortable and ok. Dr McDonnell was the best!

A wonderful experience given the circumstances. My six year old needed a bunch of dental work the team was calming and soothing and worked like a well oiled machine. Shout out to Dr.McDonnell and his amazing team. Kiddo said less than 12 hours after his procedure her was glad his achy teeth were fixed.

The whole team did an amazing job. Very friendly and informative. The appointment started late and ended a little later than expected besides that the team did everything they could in the time they had to efficiently extract my son’s tooth. The team made myself and my mother feel very comfortable, constantly checking in with us, reassuring me as mom that my son was doing good. You guys are awesome! From pulling into the parking lot to leavening this place hands down is the best !! My kids loved every second from the music to the friendly staff and can’t wait to come back which is crazy to say since they were traumatized by the dentist in our town and cried hysterically with any mention of a dentist!! The staff were incredible as always yesterday. My 15 year old son needed a few fillings and told me he didn’t feel a thing! There’s a reason we drive over 35 minutes each way to The Smile Lodge—they truly are the best!
I have to say that our experience here has been amazing and all around wonderful! I want to thank the sedation team and the dentist who worked swiftly and precisely with my son to get his dental issues taken care of. The whole team was wonderful and very attentive to my son and I and they made the whole appointment very reassuring and calming. After the appointment my son experienced NO PAIN whatsoever and I was shocked. I loved that the dentist that worked on my son did follow-up via telephone and that made me feel that they really do care about every patient!
