Today’s appointment was an overall good experience : ) My hygienist was very thorough yet gentle on my sensitive teeth 🦷 she took a full set of X-rays etc The dentist followed up with my exam and explained my X-rays and areas of concern

I had asked to see my Dentist on short notice because of discomfort in 2 of my teeth. I was concerned because I was getting on a plane and did not want to have a problem at 35000 feet. Dr. Severino squeezed me in and helped me out tremendously. He is so nice and informative. He took care of my problem so that I could travel carefree. I am extremely grateful for his kindness and professionalism.

After being Dr. Griswold's patient for years and seeing Dr. Severino too, I had my first exam with Dr. Attal yesterday at this Staten Island office. He's so nice and clear about everything. What I really liked was how he spotted something on my x-ray but didn't push for unnecessary work - just gave me options for my root canals. Clara the hygienist was absolutely professional friendly and competent. Gino at the front desk was absolutely tops. He was friendly professional and was able to answer my questions satisfactorily. Then there is my dentist, Mark Severino who is always so competent diligent and professional. Frankly he is the only reason that I used your dental office. I was his patient at Dental Associates and only made my appt with Smilist because he was associated with your firm. You are lucky to have Dr Severino in your practice. Have no idea what I would do without his expertiseoo, advice and diligence.Gaby and Christina were also excellent in arranging appts and quickly explaining some questions I had. I think Dr Severino’s assistant today was Megan and she was super and very professional and friendly. I give my dentist and staff an A+ but in my heart they are still Dentsl Associates of Richmond. Treat them right Smilist because you inherited a great team!!
Dr David Lefkowitz is my oral surgeon and he is friendly and personable as well as professional and diligent. He is top shelf in his area of expertise. Answers questions and gives you his undivided attention. I am glad that I decided to stay in house with Dr Lefkowitz instead of going to another oral surgeon I used in the past. Danielle is his assistant and she is a wonderful professional. She is knowledgeable as well as caring and helpful. Takes time to answer questions and she always has a smile and very reassuring.

Worst experience ever. Was told prior to arriving what the cost would be and when I arrived and was in the chair I was suddenly presented with a total different bill for over $1000 more that I wasn’t prepared for. I only had enough money on me that I was told on the phone and when I said I would need to reschedule I was embarrassed and humiliated by the staff. I was told I was dismissed as a patient. Seriously??? Will never return.

Everyone is very nice in the office. The dentist makes you feel comfortable and explains everything he is going to do to you. The office is nice and clean. Very friendly place. They do very good work. Josephine is the best hygienist. She's friendly, has a conversation with you. Your mouth will feel nice and clean after She's done with you. She does an excellent job!

Dr. Severino at this Staten Island office is seriously the best dentist ever - he's the only one who doesn't make me anxious before visits. Calls himself 'The Painless Dentist' and honestly, he lives up to it. Takes time to explain everything step by step during treatments like dental implants.
