Went in for my first visit—cleaning and X-rays in Stamford—and honestly, it was a great experience. The receptionist was super friendly even though it was early, and Tiffany did my cleaning with such care, way better than I treat my own teeth. Dr. Stein really knows his stuff and took the time to explain what was right for me. Felt like they genuinely cared. Definitely going back for general dentistry and more.

The whole team here is super friendly and skilled. Dr. Daniels is excellent—made me feel comfortable right away. Had a root canal with Dr. Wechsler, didn't feel a thing and it was done in under an hour. Dr. Stein is great too. Never had trouble getting an appointment, even for an emergency—they got me in fast. Plus they have Saturday hours, which helps a lot. Highly recommend this place for any dental needs in Stamford.

I'm usually terrified of dental work, especially wisdom tooth removal, but Dr. Allaeb and his assistant Hannah were amazing. Dr. Allaeb is super skilled and efficient—he could tell I was nervous and respected that, just wanted to get it done quickly and comfortably. Hannah was incredible too, honestly don't think I could have gotten through it without her. If you need oral surgery in Stamford, this is the place.

Came to Dr. Stein for a second opinion after another dentist said I needed two crowns for a cracked tooth. Dr. Stein examined it carefully and said the crack wasn't serious—he even had a second dentist confirm. Saved me from unnecessary treatment and a lot of money. So refreshing to find an honest dentist in Stamford. The staff was lovely too. Highly recommend!

I’ve been going to Stein Dental for years. I have to say I have not been happy. I have had a LOT of work done by the dentists there and have recently switched dentists - it’s safe to say my new doctor had quite a lot of bad things to say about the work that the Stein dentists have done. Crowns not fitting properly, botched root canals, and on top of that the doctors at stein really don’t tell you what’s actually going on inside your mouth or listen to your concerns. Due to the work that stein has done I now have to have 2 crowns replaced, an additional root canal, and found out much more about my dental health in one consultation with a different dentist than I have ever found out at Stein. Save your money and your teeth and do not go here.
It's unfortunate that Ms. Browning did not have a satisfactory experience in our office and we wish her nothing but the best. Our practice of general dentists and specialists work together and strive for excellence every day. We are very proud of our results and the reviews of over 1400 patients speak for themselves! Every visit is a 5-star visit. My hygienist is amazing. Only problem is that I have trouble pronouncing his name, let alone spell it. Ashley is my bff. She’s the best. I’ve been seeing Dr. Stein for 2 years and it’s more than an hour’s drive for me. But I go the distance for him because he and his staff go the distance for me. And they really do cater to cowards. Love them❣️
There are not enough words to sing the praise I have for Stein Dental Group. I have never felt so safe in a dentists office. It is obvious there is a strong company culture of centering care on the patient.
I came in with a tremendous amount of pain after having a procedure by a different dentists office. They listened to me and could tell right away why I was in so much pain. And when I let them know a few days later that the pain was so intense I had to go to the ER, they moved up my appointment without us even asking to the following day and got me in with the amazing surgeon the day after that. Now just a few days after having to go to the ER, I am pretty much pain free.
Everyone has been so kind and empathetic and has made me feel heard and cared for. Whether you need extensive work or just routine check ups, they will help you with kindness and compassion.

If you have a dental phobia (and even if you don't), THIS IS THE PLACE FOR YOU!! Dr. Daniels was able to squeeze me in same day for a filling, she was kind and answered every question and took her time to get the job done right and pain-free. I could not have asked for a better visit!! Her assistant Brie was INCREDIBLE, held my hand the whole time, walked me through everything and made sure i was comfortable the entire time. Seriously, these two are the absolute best. I also saw Dr. Stein and his assistant Tiffany for basic cleaning/check up, and they are super great as well!!! Great banter, kept the visit light and less scary. This place exceeded my expectations and I'm so glad I chose it - will be my go-to dentist office from now on! Would give it 10 stars if I could. Not what I was expecting for a dental office. When you walk into their office your greeted by a lovely receptionist and then you walk into a very inviting waiting area. It is very accommodating to children, complete with an arcade. The tech was engaging, made us forget we were getting our teeth cleaned. By the way, he did a great job. Both dentist (periodontist and dentist) were the best we have ever had experienced. Using layman terms they put my mind at rest in regards to our oral health and the aging process. I highly recommend The Stein Dental group on Hope Street.
The Stein Group exceeded all my expectations with my special needs son! April at the front was so kind and attentive, Difeson was patient and took great great care in cleaning my son's teeth. Dr Stein gave us complete confidence and it was clear he is a top specialist who understood my son's needs. This was an easy visit for my son. The office is fun and even has pinball machines!
