When I started coming here over three years ago, it was great—the doctor, the staff, communication, everything. But about a year or two ago, things changed. They missed my appointments, no follow-ups, and the staff was completely different. My hygienist was still nice, but it's not the same. I'm an attorney with a changing schedule, and they used to work with me, but now they didn't even mention there was an issue.

Love this dentist! I just moved to DTLA with my family and needed to find a new dentist. Luckily, during my first few months here, I noticed a dental office right across the street from me. Honestly, I was tired of driving and paying for parking, so without even checking reviews, I booked an appointment purely out of convenience.

I recently visited the Tooth Shop and I had the best experience with my teeth getting cleaned. Christian at the front desk was very communicative with the appointment, the process and cost, everyone was very nice and fast, X-rays were done very quick and the doctor explained everything clearly. Daseul did my teeth cleaning and she was very gentle, did a proper cleaning and my teeth feel sparkling clean. I will definitely go back to this place.
The front line staff is completely professional, yet utterly kind and with the willingness to provide superb customer service. Then the pros working directly on you make you feel at ease and like a human being. Thank you for changing my mind set of going to the dentist after years of fear!
I've been dreading the hunt for a decent dentist since I moved to LA from DC 2 years ago but it looks like I struck gold on the first try. Dr. Knopf and Corina and the entire staff are very friendly and patient and genuinely enjoy their job. They explained everything, checked in regularly, and are very thorough to ensure the job is done well and I was comfortable the entire time. My partner will be switching to the Tooth Shop soon as well since I was so happy with the service I received.
Unfortunately, I have not heard from them nor have I been able to reach the office for an appointment. I called and emailed three times to try and get an appointment. For over a year I've been unable to get a call back. I've been ghosted by my dentist.

I am extremely disappointed with the customer service at Tooth Shop Dentistry specifically the front desk representative Brandon. I scheduled my appointment months in advance, only to have it canceled on the same day without any notice or explanation prior to canceling. I took time off work and planned my day around this appointment, only to be left with no alternative for same day to accommodate me and my time.
The lack of communication and disregard for their patients’ time is unacceptable. It’s clear that customer care is not a priority here. I would not recommend this practice to anyone looking for reliable and professional dental services.
Incredible dentist office. The dentist, hygienist and office staff are so kind. The office is really clean and has a great comfortable atmosphere. They are very transparent with pricing and give you the breakdown of everything on a clear sheet.
I'm really glad this place exists in DTLA. I've been coming for a couple years and my teeth have really improved. They're also really good about appointments and scheduling. Dr Knopf is great and really listens to you.
One of the smartest things they do is take lots of photos and you can really see the improvement over time. This is the best my teeth have looked/felt in a long time.
