Had the best experience for my son's first dentist appointment at Tooth Works in New York. I felt really bad because I was stuck in a meeting at the start, but the staff and Dr. Mallory Marquie were very understanding and accommodating. I didn't know what to expect since I'd never been to a pediatric dental appointment before, but I'm so glad I chose here! I was impressed by how she engaged my 8-month-old son—like an all-in-one dentist and preschool teacher—and also asked me a lot of questions. It made the whole thing smooth for pediatric care.

Be very careful with Tooth Works in New York. I took my five-year-old and am very disappointed in how the billing and treatment plan was managed. They put you through treatment and never advised on what would or wouldn’t be covered—given my experience with my own dentist, you'd assume a filling is covered! By the time you leave, you get a $500 bill, told they'll claim and refund, but they don't give you a penny back. I had to chase them three times, and the front desk is like a circus with no clue what they're doing. Ask them bluntly if it's covered!

Unfortunately we have had a very bad experience with tooth works and believe they did unnecessary and very expensive treatment for our then 4 year old (according to our new dentist). The staff were frequently rude and made it very difficult to book appointments. The dentist is super nice, though, and very good with kids.
Dr. Vanessa at Tooth Works in NYC is everything you want in a pediatric dentist. She's knowledgeable, compassionate, and kind to my special needs child, and her entire staff is pleasant to work with. We moved to New York City recently from Long Island, where my son Alex had his dentist for 12 years. Dr. Vanessa came highly recommended from my son's school, and from the first interaction, I could tell she's a master at making children feel calm. My son has been a patient at Tooth Works in New York since he was just under 2 and is 8 now. He absolutely LOVES going to the dentist! Both Dr. Sejal and Dr. Vanessa are super friendly with parents and children, knowledgeable, and work quickly to keep appointments on time. Highly recommend this practice—they take time to explain all issues and teach kids how to practice good dental hygiene from an early age. It's made fluoride treatments and other visits a breeze for us.

Honestly, this pediatric dentist's office in New York is super cute and welcoming for little ones. The waiting space is bright, cheerful, and clean with books, toys, and iPads to keep kids occupied—plus a nook for strollers. My 3yo loves turning the interconnected gear "O"s in their logo at the entrance forever. Most importantly, the dentists themselves are great; I've been taking my daughter here twice a year since she was young for pediatric dental checkups, and it's always a positive experience.

I find Tooth Works in New York the best place to bring your kids! When you walk in, it's very clean, friendly-looking, and comfortable. While your child waits, they can entertain themselves on one of the tablets in the waiting room. The front desk people are very friendly, and the dentists' office is clean and professional-looking too. The dentists are professional, kind, and know what they're doing well. Your young child can also watch something on the small TV hanging above. It's a great spot for pediatric dental checkups without any stress.

This place is the best kept secret in pediatric dentistry in Manhattan, New York. The office has a very warm and welcoming atmosphere, with gentle and friendly nurses. My son’s dentist is Dr. Mallory Marquie—she's very talented with kids, thoroughly entertaining, patient, and amazing at breaking down complex procedures into kid-friendly concepts. I was fearing my son’s first visit, but Dr. Marquie made it a fun and educational experience for both of us, creating great memories. It's perfect for emergency services or regular checkups.

I can't say enough good things about Tooth Works in New York. I took my oldest child there when she was 2 and was delighted by how great they are with kids. I was worried today bringing my youngest (now 18 months) for her first check-up—she's not easy-going and has big 'stranger danger'. I couldn't imagine she'd let anyone near her, but low and behold, she was perfect, all because of the dentist's bedside manner. We've had both Dr. Vanessa and Dr. Mallory, and they're fantastic for pediatric care.
