After 18 years, Dr. Zatcoff still puts up with me and I'm the most terrified dental patient you'll ever meet. He's patient, kind, and just a genuinely good person. His assistant Nellie is just as warm and caring. From the receptionist to the billing team, everyone makes you feel safe and cared for. So grateful for all of them here in Middle Island.

First time at Total Dental Care in Middle Island today and it was great. Angela, my hygienist, was super pleasant and explained everything during my dental cleaning. She did a fantastic job. Also met Dr. Golub, who my son recommended. He was friendly and knowledgeable about a tooth that needs work, gave me options. I feel I can trust him completely. So far, very satisfied.

Honestly, pretty disappointed. Paid premium prices for a crown that failed after four years—broke on Christmas Eve overseas. The post was cheap and poorly placed, and the practice won't take responsibility. X-rays don't lie. Spent my holiday missing a tooth because of shoddy work. Avoid if you want accountability.

Been going here for six years and generally had good experiences. Recently agreed to a deep cleaning (scaling and root planing) not covered by insurance. They never told me it would change the billing code for future regular cleanings, so now I have a co-pay for every routine cleaning. Felt blindsided. Not cool.

Dr Baratt is terrific . He has a good sense of humor and is very caring, the staff is caring and friendly. Although of late There seems to be many new faces. This is concerning. There is a comfort in building a rapport and having a familiarity with the support staff as well as the Doctor. I was previously pleasantly surprised to see friendly faces and hearing the banter between them.
Luckily Michelle is still there - again having a rapport is comforting especially for a patient like me that has a difficult time undergoing dental work. I am very thankful for Dr Baratti , Michelle and the many other support staffers.

I’ve had issues with TDC middle island for the last handful of years, now they’re telling me since I’m pregnant I can’t get a cleaning. I’ve worked in the dental field, and that is most certainly not a thing.
Ever since they got bought out and the dentists changed everything is different, it’s even incredibly difficult to get a hold of someone on the phone, when I came in for my pointless appointment it took 10 minutes for someone to show up behind the desk and it wasn’t even a receptionist. Not to mention my Hygienist laughed when I told her I was pregnant and said “omg this happens all the time, yeah we can’t help you today.”

I met a new dental hygienist, Hector. He was young and friendly. His work was thorough and lpainless with my cleaning that I get every six months. I definitely want to have my next appointment with him and would highly recommend him. Everyone in the office, the receptionist and his assistant, were professional, friendly and accommodating. Everyone in the office was courteous and professional. The guy who took my X-rays was patient and nice. Dr. Barret was very kind and friendly, and he was patient with how scared I was. What I liked most is that he did exactly what I wanted done. That's the most important part of dental care to me. Already have three family members booking appointments.

This was our first visit, and from the moment we walked in, we were treated with such kindness and professionalism. From the front desk staff to the hygienist to Dr. Yiji Suh, everyone was incredibly helpful, welcoming, and accommodating. After going through many dentists, we finally found one we can trust.
We originally just went in for a consultation, but Dr. Yiji Suh was so caring and thoughtful—she went ahead and did fillings for both of us on the spot, even though it wasn’t scheduled. She understood that we had driven a long way and went above and beyond to take care of us. That level of care is rare and truly appreciated.
They didn’t try to upsell us or pressure us into unnecessary treatments—instead, they genuinely cared for us more than our pockets. My wife and I both had a fantastic experience, and we immediately scheduled future appointments. We couldn’t be happier.
