The office looks nice and the front desk staff is attentive, but I had some issues. Got fillings done and one broke, so I had to go back. Then billing was really deceptive—they told me I was paid in full and even overpaid, but a few months later sent a bill for nearly $500. When I called, they couldn't explain why. The dental work is okay, but I'd advise finding another place in town. Not a great experience overall.

Absolutely worth the drive! I had a dental emergency and drove 2 hours to Trail Ridge Dental. Dr. Steger and her team were amazing—so kind, professional, and accommodating. Even though they couldn't treat my broken tooth that day due to other medical issues, they quickly referred me to a surgeon near home and made sure I was taken care of. Addie was incredible—she fit me in for a full exam and cleaning the same day, adjusting the schedule so I didn't have to make another long trip. I felt so welcomed and comfortable, which is rare for me in new places. I originally came just for the emergency, but now I'm a patient for life. If you're in Grimes and need emergency dental care or just a great dentist, this is the place.

Trail ridge dentistry does a good job talking through their plan for each individual that walks through the doors. The few issues I’ve had is with scheduling appts. I’ve never had an appt work unless it has been rescheduled multiple times but that is the only real minor issues I’ve had besides my own anxiety

Front desk staff were super nice and personable. The office was very clean and my hygienist Joelle was amazing. They're really high tech—use AI and a scanner to make sure nothing is missed. Only downside: I asked to schedule both me and my husband, but only my appointment made it onto the calendar. Not a huge deal though—he got one a few weeks later. Overall, great experience for dental cleanings in Grimes.
