Honestly, my experience at Tustin Smile Care was great. The front office staff were friendly and really knew their stuff. Very disappointed. I got crowns on my bottom teeth that were way too white and didn't match. The dentist said drinking coffee would fix it, but it never changed. Now I can't smile. She had an intimidating attitude so I just accepted it. Later I told a guy who called for a cleaning appointment I wasn't coming back.

The office is a dental HMO provider but does not honor their agreement with their customers or plans. This is my first time using an HMO product and I was expecting usual and regular care with little out of pocket. The dentist tried to require I have a full mouth debridement at $150 when I just had my regular cleaning 5 months ago and have had cleanings every 6 months prior. I was expecting a regular cleaning as provided by the insurance without extra charges. There was no rational provided on why I needed the more extensive cleaning. In talking to the office assistant, she literally said “HMOs only provide a discounted rate but they don’t really pay for anything.” I asked if they had a fee schedule from my insurance company which they say they did not have. I left without having the advanced cleaning and no other cleaning option was provided after I pushed back. In talking with my insurance company, I learned I should not have paid the $5 office visit copay, though a minor charge, it speaks to their compliance toward the terms they agreed to.
Literally walking in their office & the gals greeting me by my name is such a comforting feeling! I am a new patient with Tustin Smile Care, & every apt I have been to has been wonderful. They really ease my anxiety when I come in (since I am always nervous when it comes to dental work) but each time I come in, I have less fear! First time here, and from making my appt. To coming to it, my whole experience has been great. Everyone from front office, back office staff to the doctor have been great, very nice and professional. They've answered all my questions and have helped me with my issues. I will be bringing my kids here too.
I was last seen in 2018, had consultation for future work to be done, had X-rays. I was not rushed, attended by caring staff & Dr. who worked with me regarding need for a speedy treatment protocol due to my urgent medical needs. The office is clean, neat & comfortable.
I've been coming here for years and don't plan on going anywhere else. The staff are great,very friendly, knowledgeable and caring. They have beef wonderful in every aspect.
I have gone to other dentist before and was not satisfied with their work. It looks like they didn't care and just was trying to get the job done as fast as possible. Not here. The staff will talk to you and you can tell they actually care about you and your well-being. I highly recommend this place not only for yourself but your kids and loved ones as well..
Just return for my cleaning and a filling. Satisfied again! Tustin Smile Care is definitely one of the best in the area. My experience from start to finish is always pleasant. I am extremely selectful when it comes to visiting a dentist, but in all honesty Dr. Bigdeli is the best. She's gentle and patient -- and knowledgeable. The office is always spotless and welcoming. The staff is friendly literally every time I come in. The Office Manager, Anna is super professional and always willing to answer my list of questions (I always have so many). I highly recommend this dental office.

This dentist asked me to review them only a couple of days after my initial visit. It's difficult to evaluate and give an honest and fair review when basically all they did was take X-Rays and peek inside. That was two weeks ago. They don't seem to be too agressive with insurance companies in obtaining approval, but I finally have an appointment for tomorrow.
However, there is one thing I do not like, and that is the lack of privacy. It's like a big open room with some portable dividers where EVERYONE can see and hear any, what I feel, is personal or private conversations.
I will try to give an update when we are all finished. At their rate of speed, that may take some time.
I am so happy with Tustin Smile Care. I had 2 teeth extracted with Dr. Rafael and he was AMAAAAAZING! ALL of the staff was so kind and incredibly helpful and so knowledgeable. I can't wait to continue on to the next step of my dental care. Thank you Jesus for getting me to this wonderful dental practice.

Ok I've had some teeth pulled and even had to wait a couple weeks to have this procedure. The wait was totally worth it. The receptionist got me right in to see the regular dentist who I must say was a totally beautiful person. Her radiance captured me as soon as she stepped into the area where I was waiting. Even though she had on protective glasses and a mask over her nose and mouth I could tell she was a beautiful caring person not just a Dr who saw you as a number. She gave her evaluation and took time to explain all my options. Even offered a payment plan seeing that I'm a student and couldn't afford all the upfront costs out of pocket. When I decided to have it pulled by the oral surgeon they gave me antibiotics and pain medication til I could see him in a week or so. Than the day of the procedure the oral surgeon who was totally kick ass took over on my procedure. This man literally was in and out in five minutes even after explaining his credentials to me cause I asked. He was so amazing in that he was quick with minimal invasiveness and literally never even felt numb like what your used to from the dentist. His placement of novacaine and just the right amount had me eating lasagna in like 30 minutes. So 5 stars to the regular dentist and her amazing technician and office staff Anna. Another 5 stars to the moonlighting Oral Surgeon.
