Called in and was able to get an appointment the same week. I completed all my verifications through the phone within an hour after confirming, got my confirmation. If you're using Cal Dental, they do accept it. I definitely felt lucky to get in so quickly.
When I arrived for my appointment, I immediately noticed how clean the place was. Melanie was very welcoming, got me settled in, and took X-rays. Dr. Rios checked my teeth, and I had a full cleaning done. Melanie also showed me how to floss properly using two fingers. Overall, a great experience, I would definitely come back. If I were come back for cleaning, cash price was also reasonable, around ~110, my case might be different than yours. It's the office choice to accept you as a patient or not, was lucky they are accepting new patients right now so please be patient and nice!

I haven't had access to dental care for most of my life because of poverty so going in I knew that I was going to need a lot of work and I had a lot of shame about the state of my teeth, but the staff was very friendly and didn't make me feel less than. They are efficient, friendly, and are doing their best to help me as I try to salvage what teeth I can and I really appreciate them taking the time to answer my questions and be kind about the entire experience.

Dr. Rios at Urban Smiles Dental is fantastic! The clinic in Mountain View is clean, bright, and welcoming, with easy parking. One of my favorite parts is being able to look out at the green trees from the window during my dental exam—so calming. Dr. Rios is warm, professional, and thorough. She and her team take the time to explain everything during cleanings and exams, offering helpful tips to improve your oral health. Hi, this is a fantastic office. Very honest. Great communication via explaining what needs to be done. Then doing a better job than I expected. Both the doctor and her assistant are extremely knowledgeable and professional. Unfortunately I had to experience five other dental offices this year that weren't honest and tried to gouge me. If you want a professional dentist and a great office look no further. Take care and keep on brushing 3x a day to keep dental pain away. King of Floss!

DR Rios maintains a modern professional office that is very conveniently accessed from Hwys 85, 237, 280. Her work is almost zero pain.

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Dr. Rios. After I cracked a tooth while eating seafood, I was in a lot of pain and was worried it would take a while to get an appointment. However, I called Dr. Rios' office and was able to get the appointment the same day. I usually don't like going to the dentist but Dr. Rios has a remarkably calming presence which really helped settle my nerves. She is incredibly patient and answered all my questions thoroughly.
