Really liked the dentist and staff—they were honest and didn't try to upsell me. But I gotta say, the $40ish charge for antiseptic if your gums bleed during a cleaning feels a bit ridiculous. Bleeding a little is normal, and no other dentist I've been to does that. If they drop that policy, I'd definitely come back. Otherwise, the care was good.

Can't say enough good things about Venice Village Dental. Dr. Riesz and his team are just wonderful—warm, professional, and so gentle. My wife had some pretty extensive orthodontic work done, and the results are incredible. Her smile looks amazing, and she's totally comfortable now. They really take their time to make sure everything is done right, and the pricing is fair too. Honestly, it's rare to find a practice that cares this much. This was my first visit with Venice Village Dental and I would give them ten stars if it were available. I have never enjoyed visiting a dentist office until now! The staff is friendly, courteous, professional and competent and all in the most caring way! From the time you walk in, you are greeted by Emily and others at the front desk. The man who handles the insurance goes the extra mile to ensure you get the most out of the benefits you are paying for and there are no surprises. Rachel makes you feel at home as she takes x-rays and assesses first time patients. Dr. Riesz is also very personable and takes the time to explain your dental needs. I understand why he gets such great reviews. Maegen, the dental hygienist that deep cleaned my teeth is awesome! She has totally changed how I feel about dentist office visits after many years of dread! Thanks to all of them for the pleasant experience and I wish them years of success! I am their new greatest fan!
