Honestly, the start was a bit rough when I first came in—I was trying to handle my special needs child, and the front desk person seemed distracted. But once we got back, the dentist and assistant at West Brighton Dental Arts in Staten Island were super understanding. They helped keep my three little ones safe and occupied during my appointment, which meant the world. As a mom, it’s huge when people actually see you. The general dentistry care was great, and I left feeling truly grateful things turned around.
Thanks for sharing your experience. We're glad our team in Staten Island could provide understanding general dentistry care for your family. We appreciate your feedback and hope to see you again at West Brighton Dental Arts.
Used to like this place when they were on Clove Road in Staten Island. Then they scheduled a bunch of work, packed up without telling anyone they were moving. I showed up for my visit and the building was empty, windows boarded up—I had a cracked tooth needing a root canal with approval. Two years later, found them on Amboy Road, made an appointment, got X-rays done. They saw the cracked tooth to the nerve and kept requesting insurance approval. For dental implants or any care in Staten Island, this was a mess.
We apologize for the disruption during our move in Staten Island and the delays with your dental implants treatment. We're working to improve our communication and insurance processes. Thank you for your patience at West Brighton Dental Arts.
Dr. Edwards is the most wonderful, skilled, caring dentist in Staten Island. Wouldn't trade him for the world—I'd follow him anywhere! For anyone needing a dentist around here, he's the one to see at West Brighton Dental Arts.
Thank you for the kind words about Dr. Edwards! We're proud to have him providing excellent care in Staten Island. Hope to see you again soon at West Brighton Dental Arts.
From start to finish, my visit was fantastic! Ariana the hygienist was meticulous and kind—she walked me through each step, which I really appreciated. Her calm vibe made the whole thing feel relaxed. Thea at the front desk was super welcoming and made check-in quick. Christin was nice and professional too. This team at West Brighton Dental Arts in Staten Island clearly works well together and cares about their patients. My teeth cleaning here was top-notch, and I couldn't be happier with the cosmetic dentistry vibe.
We're thrilled you had such a positive experience with Ariana, Thea, and Christin at our Staten Island practice. Thanks for trusting us with your teeth cleaning and cosmetic dentistry needs. Hope to see you back soon at West Brighton Dental Arts!
Had an incredibly frustrating time at both the Amboy Road and Hylan Blvd offices in Staten Island. They told me upfront they accepted my insurance, but it turned out misleading. After my exam, the dentist said I needed a root canal, then tried to refer me to a periodontist—which made no sense. When I questioned it, he did another X-ray and said they'd get insurance approval. Weeks went by with no update, I developed a painful abscess, and reached out multiple times with no response. For emergency dental care in Staten Island, this was a total letdown.
We're sorry to hear about your frustrating experience with insurance and communication at our Staten Island offices. We take this seriously and will review our processes for emergency dental care. Thanks for bringing this to our attention at West Brighton Dental Arts.
This is by far the worst dental office I've ever dealt with in Staten Island. West Brighton Dental Arts is a complete disaster for communication and patient care. They don't answer the phone for months, and forget about callbacks—voicemails and messages go ignored. It's like they vanished but still book appointments they don't honor. If you're thinking about trusting your dental health here, don't. The unprofessionalism is unreal. Needing urgent dental care in Staten Island and getting zero response is just unacceptable.
We apologize for the communication issues you've experienced at our Staten Island practice. We're addressing this to improve our response times for patient care. Thank you for your feedback at West Brighton Dental Arts.
Oakwood Dental in Staten Island was very friendly at the front desk—welcoming and helpful. Arianna cleaned my teeth and was a total professional! She gave me great advice along the way and even a goodie bag on the way out. Highly recommend West Brighton Dental Arts for anyone needing dental care around here.
Thanks for the shout-out to our team in Staten Island! We're happy Arianna provided great care and advice. Hope to welcome you back for more dental services at West Brighton Dental Arts.

Been to many dentists in my lifetime, and West Brighton Dental Arts in Staten Island is far better than all of them. The receptionists and staff are totally awesome—Joeann cleaned my teeth perfectly and was as kind as can be. Dr. Edwards might be the best dentist I've ever seen—he's kind, skilled, and professional. I almost didn't feel like I was at a dentist's office. For general dentistry in Staten Island, I'd recommend this place to anyone. Ron Star.
Thanks, Ron! We're so glad you had a great experience with Joeann and Dr. Edwards for your general dentistry in Staten Island. We appreciate the recommendation and look forward to your next visit at West Brighton Dental Arts.
Not a big fan of the dentist, but this place in Staten Island is the best—they always make me feel at home. Thea and Ariana are absolute sweethearts and very helpful. Got me a fast appointment and did an amazing cleaning! Left with a big clean smile. Already counting down the days until my next visit for teeth whitening or general dentistry at West Brighton Dental Arts.
So glad we could make your visit comfortable in Staten Island! Thanks for trusting Thea and Ariana with your cleaning and teeth whitening needs. See you next time at West Brighton Dental Arts!
Don't even know how to start. Dr. Williams at West Brighton Dental Arts in Staten Island is an amazing dentist. He opened the office special for me when I was in so much pain—I didn't care about the cost. Another place quoted me $2000, but Dr. Williams charged 75% less. When you're in pain, you just need help, and he delivered. For emergency dental care in Staten Island, he's the real deal.
We're glad Dr. Williams could provide urgent care when you needed it in Staten Island. Thanks for trusting us with your emergency dental needs. We appreciate your kind words at West Brighton Dental Arts.

Best Dental Office on Staten Island!!!!! Dr. Pidro, the hygienist and entire staff are top notch professionals. Very clean office and up to date with dental equipment and technology. I Highly recommend this practice. 👌
Thanks for the great review. We appreciate your recognition and support!
Recently have been unable to schedule anything with them because they never answer the phone or call me back. This happened before, but it's even worse now. I'm late in having my teeth cleaned because of this office staff and will be going somewhere else where I can actually be seen. The times I have been seen in person the hygenists and doctors are very nice. The staff is also nice in person, but that doesn't help when I can't schedule a single appointment with them in the first place.
Hello Jaclyn, I apologize about the issues you shared in your review, Our patient's are the heart of our business We understand you're feeling disappointed about not being able to get an appointment or weren't able to speak to someone on the phone. I will personally reach out to you and discuss this matter. Again sorry for the inconvenience this may have cause you!
My first time visiting. I went to c Dr Pedro, he seen great. Good with patience not just me the ones that was there before me most of the staff are good very professional polite and show concern I will be giving updates as I go through procedures here getting my mouth reconstructed so far so good and the place is clean
Many thanks, Mr. Lopez, for your kind words. We really appreciate your confidence and your sharing your experience with Dr. Pedro.
Huge thank you to Dr. Pedro, Joanne, and staff. Very accommodating, helpful, and good at what they do. I went for a check up with Dr. Pedro, who explained to me everything I need to do to take better care of my teeth. Joanne (the hygienist) provided me with a thorough cleaning and gave me many tips on how I can keep my teeth clean. Staff was very nice. Many dentists make you wait a while even though you have an appointment, but here they stuck true to their appointment time as I was immediately attended to. I'd definitely recommend family and friends to go here.
Thanks for your Review. We appreciate it!
I really wanna share this feedback since im very satisfied from Dr. Fanouse, shes very professional and kind. She did a perfect job and if you want to feel the same choose her as your doctor, also wanna thank Lee her helper. Every dental clinic / office should follow their example. Thank you 🙏🏻
Many thanks, Ardi, for recognizing the unique talents of our doctors and dental assistants. Your kind words mean even more than you realize. We deeply appreciate your taking the time to acknowledge the kind of treatment we provide our patients. Thank you!
A dental specialist that is a combination of: professionalism, detail oriented, honest & caring is a rare find these days! Dr. G. Pedro placed 4 implants for me well over 15 years ago. I moved out of town & subsequently had 2 more implants placed by another prosthodontist. One of the 2 recent implants failed. I came back to Dr. Pedro to save the day by rectifying the situation. The original titanium implants of 15 years have not given me any problems. Do not give a second thought of having anyone else other than Dr. Pedro placing implants into your mouth- you’ll be smiling again & be extremely satisfied with his level of expertise!
Thank you, Christine! We appreciate your acknowledgement of Dr. Pedro.
I switched dentists after changing insurances and this practice was in my network. I had my first appointment for x-rays and a cleaning at the eve of omicron. From the scheduling of the appointment to my leaving the office, I felt rushed, unwelcome, and dehumanized. My x-ray technician would not even wait for me to get my glasses back on before leaving me in the room. The COVID precautions--or lack thereof--are what really tank my review. I work with vulnerable populations and do my best to stay safe. The office had no formal screening procedure and I was seated in the waiting room between a patient with a mask hanging off of his ear and one who was coughing and very visibly ill. The rooms were congregate so there was another patient seated next to me when I was brought in. Two of the staff (I assume they were staff, but were in plainclothes) were walking in and out of the room without masks on to shoot the breeze with the hygienists. The hygienist's cleaning was the least thorough of my life and she got me so wet without offering a napkin or towel. I cannot even remember which dentist came in to see me, but she looked in my mouth for a moment, took no time for rapport building, and told me I would need an extraction. This is something that shook me up emotionally, but the dentist would not know because she immediately left. I was told a few minutes later that I was done and that I should get a referral to a surgeon from the receptionist. I doubt the woman at the front desk was the same woman who introduced herself to me, but I saw her sign the dentist's signature before handing me a referral. She said the referral they use does not take my insurance and recommended I call the number on my card to determine next best steps. When I got home, I was in tears. I would rather go back to Dr. Grafstein and pay out of pocket than visit this practice again. And I will certainly get a second opinion about an extraction. I have had a few bad dental experiences, but this was the worst, simply because I felt completely unsafe. If I end up with COVID, I will assume it was contracted here.
I understand the power of reviews and was hesitant to post this. I understand it can have repercussions; however, I could not stay silent this time.
Dr. Fanouse and Tiffany fixed my #7 tooth. The tooth was literally cracked in half diagonally. It doesn’t even look like anything ever happened.
Before is the temporary crown
After it the permanent crown
Thanks so much, Lance, for your review with BEFORE and AFTER images. We really appreciate your recognition of the ever-talented Dr. Fanouse and Tiffany Duo!
