Been going to Westdale Dental since 2017, with a break when I was overseas. Honestly, they're easily the best dental office I've found in Hamilton. Dr. Ali's always friendly and smiling, actually takes interest in how work or school is going. Had several hygienists over the years and they've all been good—Linda on my last visit was probably the best hygienist ever. The admin staff are super helpful too, especially with insurance stuff. Would definitely recommend this place for family dentistry in the Hamilton area.

As someone with previous dental trauma, this is the best dentist I’ve ever been to. He is so understanding and patient, he always made sure I knew what was going on with every single part of the process, and the dental assistants and SO AMAZING!!!! The ladies who work here make coming in the most loving and comforting experience. I will be a forever patient here and frankly they could take all of my money and I’d let them.
Great dentist. Did one of my crowns and fixed some cavities. No complaints. Very professional and courteous staff. They even had direct billing with my insurance company and checked in advance what would be covered so I was given an estimate what to pay out of pocket in advance.

Dr. Showkat Ali is an excellent professional and one of a kind human being.On Friday evening I walked in to the clinic because I was in so much pain. When I got there the clinic was about to close,but Dr. Ali kindly let me in, although I didn't have an appointment. He did a free consultation and then called the pharmacy to give them my prescription. I have been going to this office since they have opened and I have enjoyed every single visit as the entire team is very professional and punctual and I never have to wait . Dr. Ali is very professional, kind and empathetic. He really cares about his patience which makes me feel comfortable going in. I live in Mississauga but I don’t mind the drive to Hamilton . I can't say enough positive things about Dr. Ali and his staff. Firstly, his staff are so lovely, responsive, and efficient. His secretary Jessica is amazing and answered all my questions and set up my appointments by text. Dr. Ali was able to fix a restorative issue that other dentists told me was "the best they could do" and completely changed my smile for the better. On top of that, I always felt like he, his hygienists, and his reception staff had my best interests at heart and took their time to make sure I had and knew everything I needed. If you're looking for anything from cleaning to major restorative work, I recommend this place wholeheartedly.
Dr. Ali and his staff are amazing. I referred my brother to him for treatment. My brother is quite nervous but he said he was very happy with the experience , Dr. Ali explained in detail the procedure and what all the costs and how many visits it would take to finish the work. I was quite impressed at the filling he did on his front tooth , he did a great job. I would highly recommend this dentist and his wonderful team. I have also referred other people to him for wisdom teeth extractions and have only hear back great experiences.
