Honestly, the front desk lady on March 4th—sitting far right with thick lashes—was just rude. My sister had a 3:00 appointment. We arrived at 2:45 and she said my sister needed a parent or a signed consent form. Fine, we went to my mom's workplace 3 minutes away, got it signed, and came back before 3:00. When I handed her the form, she just scanned it without a word. No apology, no smile. Really terrible customer service.

My son and I have been coming to Western Dental & Orthodontics in Cathedral City for a while now. Every visit feels like we're going somewhere that truly cares. Dr. Bui and Dr. Petrova are wonderful—professional, gentle, and they always take the time to explain everything. My son is getting braces through their orthodontics program and he never complains. He says everyone is super nice and makes him feel comfortable. The front desk and support staff are amazing too, always greeting us with smiles and answering all my questions patiently. Couldn't ask for a better dental home.

Scheduling was easy, but when I got there for my 4:45 appointment, they said they see no one after 4:00. They tried to accommodate me, but then told me I couldn't be seen because I had my service dog in training with me. I'm homeless and have no way to leave her. She's the only reason I can go out in public. They said come back without her or not at all. What am I supposed to do?

I waited on hold for over 40 minutes across multiple calls. Each time, the system said I'd been on hold too long and hung up on me. When I finally reached a representative to ask for a copy of my estimate, she said they don't email those and hung up before I could ask my second question. Now the office won't answer my calls. Horrible.

My experience was very bad. The cleaning took almost 3 hours, and then when I tried to schedule my next appointment, an employee named Celene treated me very poorly and answered me very rudely, all because I wanted to make an appointment. I don't recommend this place at all.🥹😠

I went in to fix one missing tooth and ended up with more problems than I started with. The bone graft dentist cut too close to my healthy tooth and messed up the gum line. When I confronted him, he denied everything. Then the implant was placed off-center and crooked—permanent now. It took 4 months to cement the crown because they kept sending the wrong shape and color, until they said I'd exceeded my re-sends and forced me to accept a crown I hate. Finally, a different dentist had to fix things. Avoid this place for dental implants.

No one ever answers the phone. You could wait up to 45 minutes for someone to pick up the phone. And the ladies in the front office always have a nasty attitude. And there response for literally everything is "well thats corporate not us". Useless. Go to another dental clinic.

My whole experience at Western Dental Cathedral City was outstanding! From the front desk to the dentists and assistants, everyone was professional and had great personalities. Summer and Emely went above and beyond—super friendly and helpful. Dr. Bui was cordial and knowledgeable, explaining everything in detail and giving me all the treatment options for my general dentistry needs. A friend recommended this place and I'm glad I listened. Very comfortable environment for a dental office.

The office staff here is very incompetent. I had a procedure on 11/12/2025 and was happy with the results—my crowns and fillings looked great. But the staff never gave me my pain prescription. I slept poorly, missed work, and was in severe pain. I called multiple times and nobody answered. I had to drive down to the office to speak with someone. Still waiting on that prescription. Unacceptable.

Every time I make an appointment here, it's a long wait. Today my son's appointment was at 11:30 to remove a spacer. They put it in his mouth and he's been in a lot of pain for a week. After waiting 2 hours, the x-ray tech said they couldn't remove it. Then 5 days later I got a message saying to reach out to discuss a resolution, but he still has the spacer. The office is useless.

Had an appointment at 11am today, showed up at 10:30 maybe a little sooner, I like to arrive to my appointments early on in case any delays. The girl in the front desk with the mustard blonde and dark roots was the one who was supposed to help me. She stated one of the insurances was not the medical she needed and her co worker was kind enough to tell me where to go. (Every question I tried to ask she was completely clueless or would raise her shoulders) I drove to get a medical copy, came back with all the information and it was still barely 11:03. Come around to 11:35 she says she found my son has a different insurance than medical that I was not aware of. I ask more questions and says I don’t know you’re the patient. I call the insurance she said he had and the person from the insurance put us in a 3 way call. All the questions I tried to ask she answered her with no problem. So I proceed to reply: if you could have just told me this when I was there instead of I don’t know you’re the patient. It would if gotten figured out. 0 help and 0 personality.

WORST PLACE EVER. NEVER going back to Western Dental in Cathedral City, CA. If I could give 0 stars to this place, I wouldn’t think it twice. My mom went in person to scheduled an appointment for a cleaning she was helped by a receptionist named Karla. She scheduled my mom’s appointment. My mom received the text confirmation for the appt. We went to the appt and when we got there; the same person, Karla told my mom that she couldn’t been seen because her insurance authorize the treatment to a different facility. I asked the receptionist why they didn’t call my mom to let her know about this before the day of the appointment to informed her about this, instead of waiting to the last minute until the patient goes in person to the appointment and there they just said that patient can’t be seen. Karla was super rude, unprofessional and she was just keep repeating that she didn’t know when clearly SHE was the person that helped my mom to scheduled the appointment. I asked her to talk to a manager or supervisor but apparently there was no one there at the time we went. How a place can run without having a manager or supervisor at business hours when situations like this come up 🤦♀️. Also, I asked Karla when her manager was going to be in office and she said she didn’t know of course she knew, but she was just not helping us at all. No customer service at all. I will never recommend this place to anyone. Worst dentist clinic 👎.

Unprofessional, Disrespectful, and Disorganized
Western Dental in Cathedral City completely wasted our time — twice. When I booked my 4-year-old son’s first dental appointment, the man on the phone assured me that not having our updated insurance card wouldn’t be an issue — then immediately tried to “sell” me the appointment. That should’ve been the first red flag.
My wife brought our son to the 9:00 AM appointment and was turned away at the front desk because the card hadn’t arrived yet. Instead of verifying coverage with the insurance provider (a basic step for any dental office), they sent her away and rescheduled for the following week.
At the rescheduled 9:00 AM appointment, my wife filled out all the paperwork, was officially checked in — and then ignored for over an hour. No updates. No apologies. No communication at all. At 10:00 AM, she left. When she declined to reschedule again, the staff simply said, “Well, there are people in front of you.”
That kind of attitude is completely unacceptable. This office clearly has no respect for patients’ time and no ability to manage a schedule. They couldn’t be bothered to verify insurance, keep to their own appointment times, or even speak to a mom sitting in the waiting room with her child.
We won’t be back — and I wouldn’t recommend this place to anyone.

Worst dental office I’ve ever been to. I’d give this place 0 stars if I could. I came at the end of June for a 6-month check up and cleaning, but the lady at the front desk seemed confused and said my cleaning isn’t due until July. She told me the employee who booked my appointment during my previous visit chose the wrong date. I tried being understanding and agreed to come back in early July. I came back this month and they gave me a check up and informed me that I had a few cavities. Keep in mind that I brush my teeth very carefully. I found it kinda suspicious that they keep telling me I need fillings every time I visit. When I asked about the non-drilling method, they said my cavities were “too big.” After the checkup, they told me to wait in the lobby. There was no one in the waiting room besides myself, yet they had me waiting for 15 minutes. The lady finally called me in and asked if I wanted to get my cleaning done after lunch. I agreed, thinking I would only have to wait for another 30 minutes. Instead, they had me waiting for another hour until I finally asked the front desk. The lady informed me that the other lady didn’t let her know about my cleaning, acting all confused. She said my cleaning wasn’t due until the next week, which doesn’t make sense because they literally booked my appointment for that day. The lady I had talked to earlier finally returned from lunch and was also confused, asking me if I had received my cleaning. It was clear to me that the staff here have very bad communication and time management skills. They also are very unprofessional and have no sense of urgency and respect for their patients’ time. I practically spent my entire day here even though there were no other patients. I highly suggest you find other better quality dental offices that treat their patients with more respect and care. Don’t come here if you don’t want to waste your time.

As someone that fears going to the dentist, I must say this was a great experience and visit. Dr. Sina is incredible!!! Half of the numbness injections I didn’t even feel! He is pleasant, kind and most of all, very thorough. And any patient would be fortunate to have Noemi. Her energy kept me calm during the entire process on both of my visits so far. I highly recommend Western Dental to anyone, and I will tell everyone!
